LGBT Youth Scotland are being sued by a former client (no names please as theirs an anonymity order in place).
They've failed in a strike out order and now there's going to be an 8 day trial.

It’s very worrying that a charity for children would employ someone who isn’t what he claims to be. Not good for safeguarding.

I saw this reported in Third Force News today, which was good to see. When they announced his appointment last month I did think the accompanying photo was odd and wondered why you would use it when it was so obviously not a true likeness. Not read further, and will now read the articles linked above, thanks, but it sounds like he has really stretched the truth in terms of selling his experience. Funnily enough the person I know who is also on their Board was exactly the same so surprised they didn't spot it in a takes one to know one sort of way!

I can't help but snigger every time that picture pops up. How could anyone not look at this and be on their guard about what else that person is faking, like his amazing work experience at age 25?

If you'd been working for almost any organisation but LGBTYS, it should have been obvious that this was the equivalent of appointing the Talented Mr Ripley, or maybe Milo Yiannopoulos.

I suppose if they are stripped of funding I'll be pleased, but it's going to be very infuriating that someone embellishing their CV is what causes this charity's downfall and not the fact that their ex CEO is a paedophile caught with CSA images on his work computer. Plus the other paedophile that worked for them, plus the sexual abuse allegations, the issues with the binders, declaring that they disagree with the supreme court, I mean, all of that stuff, sure, carry on, nothing to see here... 🙄

I read this earlier and also noted he's 25, a "lawyer" with a CV as long as your arm and nobody thought "Hang on a minute". Just demonstrates the complete lack of critical thinking embedded in this culture like "Blackpool" through a stick of rock.
