I know I shouldn't be but I am constantly surprised by the sheer scale of how many of these men there are.

Makes me feel sick to my stomach and so angry.

On reading the article (thank you for the links @ArabellaScott ) Baxter is not the first Scottish drag queen to face criminal charges for child sexual abuse-related offenses.

Another (Easton) was charged, and convicted, for distributing child abuse (so- called pornography) in 2024. The sexual abuse materials found in his possession included images and videos of newborn babies, toddlers and other children under 13.

Easton previously worked with LGBT Youth Scotland. Said charity was exposed in 2022 for participating in grooming/sexual exploitation of two minor boys who had accessed LGBT Youth Scotland's services.

So many are being caught by online child protection teams (as was Easton) who then pass them on to the police, along with carefully gathered evidence. Only for them to be released on bail, awaiting their trial (which can take years), free once again to continue to do what they do.

How small is the drag queen world? There was that one that’s a teacher who took the psychologist to court at the end of last year too. That was a nasty business.

I'd be very surprised if Mhairi Black's thought process got so far as even thinking about finding a pencil to join the dots.

I'm afraid their stage names would put me off hiring them in the first place.

Go woke, go broke springs to mind, What a stupid, sort of PC decision is that. Keep someone with very alternative sexual views away from small children who can't raise concerns. The nursery has a duty to protect and they failed. If it's a private business good if they go bust.

I'm struggling to believe this story OP - there's no way a bloke with a penchant for dressing in this way, performing as he does with the stage name he has and working so closely with children would ever behave that way. No siree, just doesn't happen.

If someone is genuinely that thick not to realise there's a high sexual deviancy to these men that they're employing they should be nowhere near children. They should be investigated too.

Who in their right mind would leave their child in a day care setting with him in the room...?
