Glinner Bullseye comment on X

Always trying to explain Glinner to DH, today he showed me on X JD Vance defending murder of the woman by ICE. Glinner had replied something like 'bullseye', as in agreement. I tried to comprehend with "satire?" but he said no he's on Liz truss show these days. I said well he's always been about protecting women and children, he's not suddenly supporting femicide, but the post convinced DH otherwise. Any insights? I'm not on social media

I'm hardcore GC and have pretty much always supported and admired GL for his positions on women's rights, but there's really no denying that he's gone absolutely crackers now. Not that you can blame him after what he's been through but still, there it is.

His position broadly seems to be that, because the horrific lie that men can become women gained purchase on the left, anything now said or done by anyone vaguely on the left is evil, and MAGA can do no wrong. I fully believe that Trump could do literally anything now, and he (like many others) would find a way to defend it. Imagine defending Vance on this issue, or indeed on anything. Such a shame.

Alas . I have defended him for so long and I do admire his bravery. Now he seems to have completely lost his bearings. I've dumped Birdy Rose and Laoise de Brun with nary a backward glance. Hurts a bit more with Glinner. We've been through a lot together. Farewell Graham and I hope you get back on your bike.

Why have you dumped Birdy Rose, out of interest. I’ve not long come across her and now following her.

I'm not on social media (other than this really); what has birdy rose done @Abhannmor ? Her artwork is beautiful and she had a shite time with other artists bullying her in an awful way, obviously she's v gender critical but is there something specific she's done? I can't see anything on her website.

Also, point of the thread, sad if glinner has gone down a MAGA route. That's a bit mental. I'm always going to be a leftie but not one that denies biological reality.

I have previously defended borderline stuff because I can see how he missed the point, or perhaps see what he trying to do, even if I don’t like how he’s done it.
I also support free speech and people saying things I don’t agree with and indeed things that are offensive.

He’d do much better to think twice and do a bit more research before rushing in with his opinion. Social Media isn’t passive entertainment. You can’t mindlessly scroll and share and comment. It’s too dangerous for that.

Birdy was on the Tommy Ten Names march against immigration or whatever.

Laoise has gone all anti immigrant as well. I wish she would leave Countess Markievicz out of it . The latter was a communist after all. She was a Countess by marriage to a foreign immigrant of fighting age btw

KJK was on the march with Birdy and AJA. I admire their bravery. Then I suppose Oswald Mosley was brave to try and march through East London. But I don't have to like him.

I've no idea if the shooting was justified or not, but I'd no more joke about it than I would laugh at the ICE agent if she had actually ran him down. Unpleasant.

Glinner hates women. Men stand to gain a hell of a lot from having a say in controlling women's spaces. It's convenient for him that many women agree with his GC stance, but it doesn't mean he gives a fuck about women. If he backs Vance on this, it's only a matter of time before he is confident enough to publically back him on other issues - ones that bolster the patriarchy and reduce women's rights

I'm always suspicious of men who overly concern themselves with women's business. They never have our best interests at heart. It is in the interest of ALL men to uphold the patriarchy.

Funny how you can’t hear the three shots in that footage, whereas you can hear them plain as day in the first video while you can see the ICE guy actually shooting her? It’s almost as if a little editing has been done.
