I'm not sure if there's anything new here though

Phillipson blocks trans guidance after landmark Supreme Court ruling https://share.google/P91PBE5Cy4ROwsdA1

It's a very stark article in the Telegraph.

Well that would be more honest than piggy backing on a Good Law Project legal appeal.

Duplicitous

Agreed

Considering the SC panel mentioned taking male children into the spaces as being accommodated, her warning does not ring true at all.

Yes exactly. What liars they are.

I thought Starmer made a big deal of wanting single sex spaces pre GE. I remember all the posters adamant he’d stick to it.

I also thought Starmer said the SC Judgement would be respected ….

I despair... how can the needs of a small number of people override logic?

Pleasantsort2 · 18/12/2025 21:58

This makes me so angry. What is she all about ?

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 18/12/2025 22:00

Why are all these people in thrall to this tiny tiny minority? Are they scared? If so, what of?

Can we stop calling TRAs' demands "needs"? A parent needing to change a baby's nappy has a need for a changing bench. A disabled adult who needs a ramp to get to the railway station has a need. Trans people have wants. Their needs for a loo are already met by them having the legal right to use the loo for their sex.

TheAutumnCrow · 18/12/2025 22:07

The GLP are going to lose. Of course they are going to lose.

What the fuck is this Secretary of State playing at?

She’s either off her nut or she’s scared shitless of the aggressive TRA lobby, and either requires intervention from Starmer immediately.

Being aggressively harassed for years at work and at home, in one’s public and private life.

DuchessofReality · 18/12/2025 22:11

This actually makes me feel sick. How on earth is this ‘respecting the Supreme Court ruling?

It is utterly disingenuous to use children using toilets with their parents as a reason to delay telling employers they must operate single sex facilities. If she wants transwomen in female spaces she should have the guts to stand up in public and say so.

OpheliaWitchoftheWoods · 18/12/2025 22:12

Helleofabore · 18/12/2025 21:50

At this point we're long past the 'their mouths are moving' way of telling if a member of the Labour party is lying. It's nearer 'are they appearing to be conscious'.

deadpan · 18/12/2025 22:19

OpheliaWitchoftheWoods · 18/12/2025 21:04

What is the batshit about women cannot have single sex spaces because it would prevent a mother taking in her infant son?

What is she smoking in there?

I took my son in the loo's till he was about 7 and my other half took our daughter into the ladies until she was old enough to donut herself while he waited outside. No one batted an eyelid and I didn't when I saw other mums and dad's doing it for their kids.
That was before all this shite about and it didn't stop them being single sex facilities. Anyone not understanding that is either a fool or a fool.

littlbrowndog · 18/12/2025 22:19

The woman is a total traitor to all women and girls and a total coward.

EasternStandard · 18/12/2025 22:23

The Supreme Court covered the infant part. What’s going on?

ThatBlackCat · 18/12/2025 22:24

So she was never on the Gender Critical side ever, to begin with? Even though some on here said she was.

I don't think she would be doing this without the backing of Starmer.

The Labour party were fully behind the TRAs however prior to the election they pretended they would uphold the SC ruling. Now I suspect they want to win over support from voters who might otherwise go to the Greens.

To deliberately thwart the SC and EHRC is stooping so low that they no longer have any credibility or trust.

Stopbringingmicehome · 18/12/2025 22:28

I wonder who's behind this. I thought that once DOGE had stopped USAID funding trans activists , this would stop

The correct place for a dad to take his very young DD is the gents, leading her by the hand to the cubicle with her eyes shut. A man being a father doesn't make it OK for him to be in the ladies.

HermioneWeasley · 18/12/2025 22:34

Are there any other laws the Government thinks are optional?

this is a disgrace

Greyskybluesky · 18/12/2025 22:34

This article is so clear and plainly written.
Thank you Gordon Rayner 👏
Please continue to shine the spotlight on these traitors to women and girls.

No. The only side she's on is her own, like all the other grifters in Parliament.

RandomHypatia · 18/12/2025 22:36

I am so full of rage right now. Why don't women matter to governments? How can they stand there and lie about such clear and simple things. Not all politicians are intelligent, but I don't believe any of them are actually too stupid to know what a man or a woman is and how we are different. As someone who wouldn't vote for a right wing party, looking forwards to the Scottish elections next year, I think for the first time in my life I'm going to have to resort to spoiling my ballot paper.
