I'd want to understand says the woman who hasn't tried to understand the concerns of lots of women. Seems she only wants to understand from one view point.
I'm a lefty and it's very troublesome and disappointing to agree with a lot of what they say but be poles apart on this.
There's a hell of a difference between considering what women feel when using the loo with complete strangers and thinking about using the loo with your friends and nephew/niece

It's clear to see why Unison is failing women. I listened to the Inciteful Sisters podcast recently, and Bethany from the Darlington Nurses was on. She said one of the other nurses had paid subs to Unison for over 30 years 🙁

How intellectually lacking is she:

The EHRC wants she government to pass a law - NO they are only confirming statutory guidance on what the law has always been.

Trans people are being excluded from services that align with their gender identity- NO trans people have been riding rough shod over women’s boundaries for decades and were given free rein to do so. They have the protection of their sex so single sexed spaces or mixed sex services.

She’s a traitor to her sex.

Yes, it's embarrassing that she doesn't understand that the EHRC guidance will simply reflect the law as it actually is.

Somebody needs to take Unison to court and then she'll learn what the law is pretty quickly.

Sellout! Honestly, my mother will be turning in her grave at what these women ( and men, always the MEN) have done to the trade union movement. So where do we go ? Jobs like I do ( working in social care) where you need to have some sort of protection - what union do you join? I was in Unison for years and was a rep. I left cos of the male bullies putting male crossers above women's safety, then I tried GMB and they are rubbish too.

I'm not a member so this isn't a recommendation but Affinity union are very clear about free speech and the importance of not indulging in student politics in the workplace. They've apparently picked up lots of members leaving the anti women unions.
