Andrea Egan standing to be the general secretary of unison has apparently never heard of the Sandie Peggie case, doesn't understand the issues and compares it to banning ppl with blue eyes

I agree. I think campaigning to change the Equality Act will be a step too far for many people. But as pp said, there will be a small.but very vocal group of TRAs pushing this, with many other people cowed into submission. But hopefully this will trigger some debate and scrutiny about what changing the EA would actually mean.

My entire sector is devoid of a union, so none are recognised as such. They can still represent you when / if things go sour, there's just no collective bargaining etc.
