I wish I could press a Reset button on the vocabulary used to refer to trans people. "Trans wo/men" is way too confusing, and leads far too easily to, "Well duh, trans women are women, it's in the name!"
I read a book which called trans women "trans-feminine men", and I liked that. It clearly spells out that they are men with a female gender identity. So trans men are trans-masculine women, and pregnant trans men are pregnant trans-masculine women, so that we end up with: "pregnant cis women and pregnant trans-masculine women" which can then very obviously be simplified to "pregnant women".
