I can't help thinking of 'xe' as a neo-pronoun.

ProfPerfectlySoftButter · 19/11/2025 14:49

What happens next? Do we get oral submissions (on Friday) or is it just written?

It was agreed they won't read out their respective written submissions, but just respond to each other's and give a brief oral summary.

As an aside, I wonder if Fake Professor Boyd is listed for being a Panel member over the coming months? Or will she be allowed to Carry On Conning?

If I were her, my fibro would be playing up for a while.

ProfLargofesse · 19/11/2025 15:48

ProfessorOfAllTheThings · 19/11/2025 15:41

Interesting that the UU hasn't felt moved to decry her

And the Tribunals service doesn't feel a need to clarify their plan of action

I wonder if they are waiting until this one has cleared the books so to speak so as to not further taint this ET?

MyThreeWords · 19/11/2025 15:50

Lunde · 19/11/2025 15:42

I thought it was a stroke of genius to get CE to do the xe

LM was obviously all wired up for a blunt head to head confrontation with NC and I think he had prepared for this. It was probably also a blow to his ego that his examination was by the "junior"

Yes, this sounds right. He does give the impression of being the kind of man who regards all young women as neophytes to the cult of Him, and all older women as 'difficult' (in the sense of not being immediately and demonstrably impressed by him)

Will NW have access to the written submissions? Either physically in the courtroom or because counsel are happy to release them?

ProfessorBinturong · 19/11/2025 15:52

Not sure. I think they will be in the bundle, but don't know if they're available there from 9am when the judge gets them - which would give NW plenty of time to copy the juicy bits - or only from the hearing start time of 11.30.

On the manicure point that was made last thread.

Quite apart from the fetishistic element, and not to be all elf and safety gorn mad, but I can't be the only one who wouldn't want a manicure from some random I don't know, just because they happen to be sitting in an art gallery. At least with a proper salon there'd be hygiene ratings and I could look at reviews! It was a very odd proposal from MD even without any of the trans stuff.

Well apparently if wasn’t a manicure. It was Barry M nail polish done badly.

I think I can understand and eugh at that offer!

LB's confidence is unravelling. How on earth can she claim to not remember the detail of such an, by her own testimony, worrying and concerning issue.

NC so you say to MTM you will have a chat. How did that work - 2 sep calls or a three-way chat LB can't really remember - "it felt like there were serious matters worth considering" "there was at least one phone call"
J were they both on the call
LB can't quite remember

Was it a many call or a 2 is 2 call?

I think that too - if DB is spoofing about her professorship, it doesn't say much for the due diligence done by whoever sets up the panels.

And if DB's fibromyalgia either doesn't exist [and lucky her if it doesn't - I wouldn't wish it on anybody!] or was falsely used as a cover for her departure from the panel, that makes the judge implicit in misleading the tribunal.

They are trying to bring this ET in to land on a wing and a prayer, without any more turbulence...

ProfessorBinturong · 19/11/2025 15:58

One thing from today that I don't think I spotted in NWs Tweets was that after the break between the 1st two witnesses the judge gave a Very Stern Warning about recording proceedings or taking photos, and that anyone who had done so must delete them immediately on pain of further action.

She's mentioned every day that it's not allowed, but this was much much stronger and clearly as response to Events.

It seems that a BFF member had been reported for covertly taking pics of the audience in the hearing room.

Three is many.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Pants on fire moment of all pants on fire moment.

Especially when followed by two is two.

This all day 💥

Any ‘compliant’ was recieved from Outburst. Little sock puppets.

Oh lots of complaints - many complaints - all from Outburst - their CEO, their two employees and a director.

And why, were they a treasured partner organisation? Oh no - BFF CEO - Michele got off with Ruth’s partner and they haven’t worked together again.

I am a bit puzzled by the sick note/SSP timing but I am sure it must have been important for CE to ask

3rd July- the "send to all" without bcc email went out and then people went on hols
26 July was to be the investigation meeting
On or before 25 July MD instructed ML verbally to put SM on SSP
3 August sick note is sent in (so 8 days later).

When did SM actually go off on sick leave? Apols, I missed a lot of the early stuff.

No, it was 2 = many.

No - 2 is 2.

Three is many.

Michele Devlin forwarded two emails to the co-chairs that formed the basis of their investigation.

Sick pay
The dates may relate to a self-certified period and/or a 3 day no payment period.
https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/sick-pay-rights#toc-2
Interesting to note:
Company sick pay: Details of your company sick pay entitlement should be included in your written statement of employment particulars, which you should be given within two months of starting work. If your company doesn't offer a scheme, the written statement should say so.
Proof of sickness: "Usually you will be able to self-certify for seven days of illness, beyond that a fit note (statement of fitness for work) is normally required."
"Employer discretion: If your employer has chosen to pay discretionary sick pay in the past this does not automatically mean they have to in the future. However, it is sometimes possible for a discretionary arrangement to become a part of your contract through 'custom and practice'.
"Statutory Sick Pay: You get SSP for the days you would normally have worked. It's not paid for the first three days you're off, unless you've been paid SSP within the last eight weeks and are eligible for it again.

Sick pay rights

What you're entitled to be paid when you're off sick varies from job to job and there are also different sick pay schemes in operation - but there is advice available if you have problems.

Massive thanks to everyone posting and commenting on this.

Question from me - on what basis is everyone on both sides implying that the complaint from the filmmaker that shouldn’t be named is made up? I feel like I’ve missed something important

As an aside I had to fire someone over 20 years ago. It took six months and was the most stressful thing I have ever had to do. I can remember who was in the room and even what I was wearing for every difficult conversation that was had. It was so stressful and I was so concerned about making sure I got everything right. I really struggle to believe that BFF colleagues can’t even remember who they spoke to a matter of months ago.

So the trans identifying woman wrote a complaint sent in by a mental health agency.

Except the vulnerable person was in fact one of three employees at Outburst. The other ‘complaints were from Sarah Williams at Outburst & CEO Ruth McCartthy at Outburst. And this was all sent at the same time.

It was orchestrated with different accounts to hide the connect.

This organization Outburst was the one that Michele used to be in the board of until she stole Ruth’s girl friend and then stepped off board. Other complaints in bundle all connected to Outburst.

How cosy. https://outburstarts.com/about-contact/

She fixed a fix to fix her!

So Outburst is named as executive producer of the most recent film made by the 'hope this helps' director. Their relationship continues to flourish it would seem.

(It actually looks quite interesting.)

Many (at least two) thanks to all the pasting pastors and other posters. Rivetting stuff.

I fear I'm too late for a self-professorship but, in recognition of my preference for Vegemite over Marmaite, I propose and second myself as the next Governor-General of Australia

But it's all above board and they all independently decided, at exactly the same time, and off the back of one email sent from BFF about a bigly screen event (was the film maker who shall not be named a recipient of the email? If not that makes the timing of their email even weirder) that would be exactly the right time to complain about the nasty mean terf.

LoonyQuine · 19/11/2025 16:47

From the same text message (back on page 5 of this thread but long enough I didn't want to quote) as the clear destination quote we also have this "Michele has gathered further formal complaints relating to Sara."

Apart from making me think of gathering lilac in Spring, it would surely be more natural to say someone had received further formal complaints? To gather is an active verb whereas to receive is passive. It implies a degree of searching, seeking out.

That might just be me using too narrow a definition though
