what I think was ingenious of the team was to have CE question him. She is brilliant as we all know but as he has been sitting watching he, a man so far up his own arse he can lick his own brain, be will defo be insulted that the ‘junior’ was asking him the questions.

He didn’t half make a tit of himself. Utterly and wholly contradictory throughout.

It read to me he was using 'theories' to refer to the C's implausible notion of an Evil Plan. Whereas he maintains it was all just a common or garden 'staffing' issue.

Surely not the one and only Sinn Féin's Niall O'Donaighle who had to resign from the Seanad? Lots of cover up and unanswered questions around his behaviour.

I agree @Largesso , he will have been geared up for NC, and Charlotte Elves stepping up was pure genius as he wasn't expecting her.

He came across as a sectarian yesterday's man who couldn't bear anyone straying from his personal party Big Man line.
