Katie Lam and Pochin from Reform spouting stuff that makes me feel sick. Looking at all the glossy goons like Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi surrounding Trump. I am predicting that Erica Kirk will be the first woman President or perhaps more likely Vance’s Vice President. I’m not talking about women who would like to pay less tax, or Theresa May, but those who rise in extreme right wing circles.

I’m working my way extremely slowly through Andrea Dworkin’s ‘Right Wing Women’. Has anyone else read it? I don’t have any conclusions about this yet…

Tried & true?
Such as?
Marrying your rapist? That happened apparently. To a 15 yr old, in the presence of a social worker.

That’s disgusting. How was that even allowed?

“ours” is certainly much fairer and more just for women and children.

And there's a case to be made that 'their' system is readily available in their country of origin. Living somewhere isn't like eating only your favourite Quality Street chocolates. If you want the Green Triangle, you have to accept that there'll be the horrible coconut ones (With apologies to anyone who likes the coconut ones. I'm open to a swap.)

Under your proposed system, where the community of the perpetrator gets to decide the outcome, what would you expect to happen?

But maybe that's fine, if we have superinjunctions to stop these cases being reported.

Maaate · 27/10/2025 14:51

Like a 2 tier justice system?

One would assume, vigilantism and extra judicial punishments. That keep any 'issues' like rape and abuse safetly tucked away out of sight.

Still, this poster isn't serious, at least.

Maaate · 27/10/2025 15:41

Swiftasthewind · 27/10/2025 15:15

No. They would be punished regardless. But if you’re talking about communities dealing with their own punishments internally, including using tried and true methods that they are used to themselves, then yes I am a huge advocate for that. There is nothing to say that our legal framework is better than any other, and in many ways ours might not be particularly fair or just when it comes to certain minority demographics.

So a multi tier justice system then.

Gotcha 👍

What community would marry a 15 year old girl off as punishment for being groomed? That sounds like a grotesque distorted form of punishment that no society would advocate. Were the people involved part of some odd cult separate from the Pakistani community?

I'm looking forward to all communities in the UK self policing and setting up their own wee courts for trying, convicting, and punishing anyone who doesn't go along with our own individual, self created laws.

My first law: Don't double dip on the hummus; anyone who does will be getting keelhauled.

This is a common practise around the world.

So the far right community could decide their own punishments for Pakistani men raping white girls? I am sure they have some tried and true methods of punishment too…. What is to say the legal framework is better than the far-rights?

Your going to need a bigger boat.

Unbelievable

But the voting choices are open to view.....the phrase 'arse about face' comes to mind.

Dystopian like some bad male charter novel.

Shame used, abuse hidden.

Heggettypeg · 27/10/2025 16:47

I'm beginning to think that Swiftasthewind must be a pal of Tommy Robinson or Nigel Farage! They're saying the quiet bit out loud sooo loudly that if they were really a Left supporter, they'd have to be pretty dim not to see how much damage they are doing to their own cause.
I mean, Britain-hating quislings who want us all paying reparations we can't afford, and two tier legal systems and no justice for raped white girls, and thought-policing people's voting choices so that you can shame them for not being Woke - it's such a mishmash of Far Right cliches about the Left, isn't it? "Over-egging the cake" springs to mind.
At least, I hope that's the explanation. If it isn't...

So you’d be happy for them to use their tried and trusted methods of stoning adulterous women to death and chopping off the hands of criminals? There are Muslim men in the UK that absolutely would be up for this .

If those communities decided that the rapists had actually done something wrong (as we can see from the widespread community support they enjoyed, that’s not a given) they haven’t actually got any prisons they could lock them up in (unless you’ve got a bright head about that as well) so stoning the women or revenge rape if their wives could well be the go to.

You have some very strange thoughts in your head. I’ve just realised that nuts half term holidays which could explain a lot about you.

BundleBoogie · 27/10/2025 17:06
