The legalities can be debated. But it takes a particularly nasty type of man to wish to see rape crisis centres defunded because they won’t let men in, and the same can be said of someone who posts support of such a man without even knowing who he is, or now, regardless of who he is.

Then how come in the case of Kimberly Nixon, Vancouver Rape Relief won at both the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada in being allowed to exclude him from working at the service as a counsellor?

Even in Canada, some forms of discrimination against trans people are permitted by the law.

Even in his opening few paragraphs Oger is going straight for pure emotional manipulation. He positioned discussion and campaigning that disagreed with his view as ‘moral panic’. He, as we have seen so many times before, falsely compared that discussion with previous campaigns based on illegitimate discrimination and with a ridiculous comparison about Dungeons and Dragons.

I think he set the scene very well on just how little people can trust what he says. Particularly when he then uses the placating falsity that evidence supporting medicalisation has been published.

Mia is amazing. Like the posters on this thread, I'm always impressed by how women will engage with a confused and provocative man, when they turn up spouting utter nonsense.

Social distinctions are material reality. We rarely distinguish men from women using gametal evaluations in our everyday social interactions, rather surface level typical associations.
