Canadians’ eagerness to please has left them hopelessly vulnerable to the #BeKind mantra.

As a result, they sometimes do and say some very silly things. For proof, see the story this week about the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation, whose members have issued a tearful public apology – for organising a “magical-themed forest walk” inspired by Harry Potter.

Trans activists were horrified, because Harry Potter was created by JK Rowling. So, to avoid causing them further trauma, the walk has been cancelled. At an emergency meeting, Brennan Bastyovanszky, a park board commissioner, promised to “do better in the future”. Later, his colleague Tom Digby tweeted: “Apologised to TGD2S [Transgender, Gender-Diverse and Two-Spirit] community after emotional discussion. Shared some tears. Disavowed JKR.”

Funnily enough I was thinking about Vancouver just today. Thinking about how the liberal lefties wailed and gnashed their teeth over the municipal funding for the Vancouver aquarium and sealift rescue centre. As a result it was sold to a commercial private owner. How is that going to be any better for the animals and sea life? The noisy elements of the left have no critical facilities anymore and seem hellbent on making life worse for humanity and our wildlife.

Two Spirits is part of a set of beliefs of Indegenous Americans.

It isn't as far as I am aware anything to do with the western queer concept about sex and gender being interchangeable.

And its a bit sad IMO that it has just been bundled in the the whole LGBTQ+ whatever.
