Just at trigger warning that there are some graphic details in this article.

This is terrifying news for women in Ireland.
Barbie spent time in the female prison and was eventually moved after making threats to rape, torture and murder female inmates and prison officers.

In other news Ireland is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Self ID this week.
Barbie Kardashian is legally a woman in Ireland and cannot be legally refused access to female spaces.

Those who've been specifically threatened by this man are almost in worse than prison because they have no state resources to help them stay safe, no meals, no accommodation paid and yet they'll be looking over their shoulder as long as he's out of prison.

FortheloveofPetethePlumber · 01/10/2025 17:26

What on earth were the parole board smoking?

It's only a matter of time before he hurts someone else, his record shows this is absolutely inevitable. This is a very, very disturbed guy.

Helleofabore · 01/10/2025 17:04

If he is threatening to murder people, how is he out of prison?

The ability to make a credible threat convert into a conviction.

The state failed to prove that the rape fantasy would happen. ( overcharged by not having an basic assault included ?)

And the RTE report proved he had access to womens sleeping areas

And dont read below if you have been Sexualy assaulted because it is very graphic

...
On Friday, accused, Barbie Kardashian, told her trial she had wanted to “torture” and “electrocute” the genitals of a female prisoner, Tegan McGhee, using an “electric rod”, when she threatened to rape her on February 25th, 2023.
Kardashian, who denied one count of threatening to kill or cause serious harm to Ms McGhee, intending that she would believe the threat would be carried out, was found “not guilty” by a jury of seven women and five men following a four-day trial at Limerick Circuit Criminal Court.
..
..
..
..
Kardashian claimed Ms Linnane had been “openly intimidating” her on the prison landing and scowled her for taking from the prison canteen and she was annoyed at the prison officer.
..
..
Kardashian, who was not allowed mix with other prisoners on the female wing, ..

Under cross-examination from prosecution counsel John O’Sullivan, Kardashian admitted threatening to rape Ms McGhee with an object so that the extent of Ms McGhee’s injuries would be that “she would not be able to have children”.
Mr O’Sullivan asked Kardashian “what object” would be used to rape Ms McGhee.
“I wanted to use an electric rod, but that wasn’t available to me. I remember thinking I wanted to use the handle of a sweeping brush or a mop. I wanted to torture her (Ms McGhee) sexually, I wanted to sexually electrocute her genitalia,” Kardashian replied.
When asked why use the word “object” in the rape threat, Kardashian replied: “Because I am a woman, and women use objects, that’s why I said ‘object’.”
Kardashian added: “I hate having male genitalia and I would use an object to commit rape. If a woman wants to rape, that’s how I would commit rape.”

She said Barbie Kardashian was asked by an officer if she had cleaned the shower after using it and she said she had.
She said she heard Barbie Kardashian knocking on another prisoner's door asking if had they complained about her.
She came to Tegan McGhee’s door and also asked her, and the witness said she had complained about her.
The witness said Barbie Kardashian said: "I’m going to rape you so that you cannot have anymore children."
She said she knew it was Barbie Kardashian who had uttered the words because she was standing outside her cell door, and she had a distinctive American accent.
She said she was extremely shocked, upset and disgusted that somebody could say something like that.
Under cross examination, Tegan McGhee admitted she had not met or spoken to Barbie Kardashian or seen her face to face.
Prison officer Katherine Halley who was on duty that day told the court she heard the accused woman Barbie Kardashian conversing with witness Tegan McGhee and she said to her "if I get my hands on you I will rape you with an implement and you will not have kids again."
Officer Halley said she had no doubt it was Barbie Kardashian who spoke those words.

In the interview with Paddy he has a little dog.

Says he will murder his mother, father & governor of Limerick Prison.

Karen Sugrue should definitely take the poor wee oppressed pet into her home . I don’t mean the dog

It's Paddy's dog, apparently.

deeahgwitch · 01/10/2025 17:38

@worksineducationWhat happened to Graham L was in the UK.
BK is in Ireland where I live.
i have seen men who have committed heinous crimes here being released on to the streets - a vicious serial rapist who
attacked 6 women at knife point over 5 days and who had 8 previous convictions got concurrent sentences and got early release.
Another infamous attacker of a woman who suffered a dreadful ordeal but was saved by two passersby is out and about, possibly in the UK, despite suspicions he may have been involved in other unsolved murders.

There is a high security psychiatric hospital in Ireland, isn't there? In all seriousness, surely he meets the criteria to be sectioned, or the Irish equivalent, given the huge threat he presents to all women.

Worryingly, it would appear not, if they are letting him out. How long will it be before they find out the hard way that that was a very grave mistake?

I find it difficult not to be ideologically in favour of mandatory euthanisation for certain dangerous people. Jonty Bravery is one. This man is another. What on earth is the point of these people's existence on earth except to cause endless grief and worry and fear to everyone who ever comes into contact with them forever more? He's a vile freak, a lunatic and an utter liability. Clearly not someone who can ever be rehabilitated or cured and I doubt anyone would mourn him. His poor mother had probably mourned the loss of the child she once had already. A perfunctory euthanisation would probably be a blessed relief to her as much as everyone else, and who knows whose life it might save.

elgreco · 01/10/2025 18:17

At least you still spot him in a crowd.^^

Talkinpeace · 01/10/2025 18:19

He needs to be locked up to protect the Governor of the prison.

AnSolas · 01/10/2025 18:21

Mr Varadkar claiming his media staff are shit and never told him that a Garda BOTLO leak made headlines or that Tusla the agency which called a Garda Whistleblower a child rapist was issuing take down noticed to all of the Irish media outlets or that the Dail record via Peadar Toibins question

Prison Service finalising policy on transgender inmates

The Irish Prison Service is finalising a new policy in relation to where transgender prisoners serve prison sentences and will "conclude" its work in "the next few weeks".

With him it is not if he will seriously harm women it is when he will next do it

I would be terrified if I were a worker involved with him and if I had to live near him I would probably move

He is a very damaged person

It's Paddy's dog, apparently.

Yes, the gorgeous Bailey, who is a very good boy, is Paddy's. Paddy has been doing trojan work reporting on Barbie and the other men held in the women's prison in Limerick.

yourhairiswinterfire · 01/10/2025 18:55

The ridiculous makeup and sinister appearance is quite handy, it screams that people should cross the street to avoid him.

Unfortunately, thanks to this bullshit, anti-woman ideology, some women and girls won't have a chance to try and avoid him. Imagine being in an enclosed space like a public toilet or changing room and this absolute danger obsessed with rape and sexual torture is legally allowed to walk right in on you. Horrifying.

Cailin66 · 01/10/2025 18:58

Paddy O’Gorman who interviewed Barbie goes everywhere with his little dog. Paddy is very well known in Ireland for his reporting on RTE (like BBC) for decades. He is particularly known for his work on the most marginalised in society. And is very much a respected gentleman. He’s been on the case of the poor women in Limerick prison who have been subjected to the most vile language from Barbie K for the last few years.

inamo · 01/10/2025 20:25

BK will remove his make up and football breasts for his next outrage. He will not be recognised on sight. That is the scary thing.

DeanElderberry · 01/10/2025 21:02

Still in Limerick so, just down the road, the place that our county sometimes takes hard-to-house people from.

Great.

Lottapianos · 01/10/2025 21:16

'The ridiculous makeup and sinister appearance is quite handy, it screams that people should cross the street to avoid him.'

He really does look properly frightening

Boiledbeetle · 01/10/2025 22:50

"If I can't find my parents I will murder..." then the clip cuts out.

Nice bloke isn't he!

Pleasantsort · 01/10/2025 22:52

Ffs what a disgrace

MoltenLasagne · 02/10/2025 09:26

It is utterly astounding to me that someone who is happily voicing murderous intent is allowed out. Is the approach just to wait until he harms, possibly kills someone?

Ireland has very strong personal rights which he used to prevent himself being sectioned.

And at this stage it is a "waiting game" of a "convictable" offence to happen as the State failed to prove its last case

FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS

PERSONAL RIGHTS

ARTICLE 40
1 All citizens shall, as human persons, be held equal before the law.
This shall not be held to mean that the State shall not in its enactments have due regard to differences of capacity, physical and moral, and of social function.

2 1° -' 2° -

3 1° The State guarantees in its laws to respect, and, as far as practicable, by its laws to defend and vindicate the personal rights of the citizen.
2° The State shall, in particular, by its laws protect as best it may from unjust attack and, in the case of injustice done, vindicate the life, person, good name, and property rights of every citizen.

3° --

4 1° No citizen shall be deprived of his personal liberty save in accordance with law.

4 2° Upon complaint being made by or on behalf of any person to the High Court or any judge thereof alleging that such person is being unlawfully detained, the High Court and any and every judge thereof to whom such complaint is made shall forthwith enquire into the said complaint and may order the person in whose custody such person is detained to produce the body of such person before the High Court on a named day and to certify in writing the grounds of his detention, and the High Court shall, upon the body of such person being produced before that Court and after giving the person in whose custody he is detained an opportunity of justifying the detention, order the release of such person from such detention unless satisfied that he is being detained in accordance with the law.

4 3° Where the body of a person alleged to be unlawfully detained is produced before the High Court in pursuance of an order in that behalf made under this section and that Court is satisfied that such person is being detained in accordance with a law but that such law is invalid having regard to the provisions of this Constitution, the High Court shall refer the question of the validity of such law to the Court of Appeal by way of case stated and may, at the time of such reference or at any time thereafter, allow the said person to be at liberty on such bail and subject to such conditions as the High Court shall fix until the Court of Appeal has determined the question so referred to it.

4 4° The High Court before which the body of a person alleged to be unlawfully detained is to be produced in pursuance of an order in that behalf made under this section shall, if the President of the High Court or, if he is not available, the senior judge of that Court who is available so directs in respect of any particular case, consist of three judges and shall, in every other case, consist of one judge only.

4 5° -

4 6° Provision may be made by law for the refusal of bail by a court to a person charged with a serious offence where it is reasonably considered necessary to prevent the commission of a serious offence by that person.

5 -

6 1° The State guarantees liberty for the exercise of the following rights, subject to public order and morality: –

6 1°i The right of the citizens to express freely their convictions and opinions.
The education of public opinion being, however, a matter of such grave import to the common good, the State shall endeavour to ensure that organs of public opinion, such as the radio, the press, the cinema, while preserving their rightful liberty of expression, including criticism of Government policy, shall not be used to undermine public order or morality or the authority of the State.
The publication or utterance of seditious or indecent matter is an offence which shall be punishable in accordance with law.
