... & Magpie regularly drains the hot chocolate bowser.

If you understand that, or you're just cool with it, come on in & bagsie a chair by the fire.

That is a prodigious quantity of cake, I'm impressed that the gerbil pastry chefs work so fast!

(a) there are a lot of gerbils

(b) we have a time portal

I genuinely do not understand the logic that it’s ok for every fucker to know about my trauma and me be outed because of xyz things but it’s not ok for a man because ? I don’t know.

anyway. I’m going to go eat my body weight in cream cakes.

Did you get your medal the other week Taz? The gerbils got overexcited and I fear quite a few people missed out, though Myrtle did get hers. There's one for Banned as well.

Oooo thanks i have been trying to join MI5, i mean WRN for ages and i am now nearly there.

i am getting a phone call next week.

More excitement.

Britinme · 09/10/2025 19:06

Well my search skills are clearly inadequate because despite following android's instructions I still can't find what I'm looking for, so at this point I'll stick with sympathy for Taztoy and rein in my curiosity. But if I see another poster being mean to her I will certainly take note and avoid that person as far as possible.

I don't like mean.

MyrtleLion · 09/10/2025 19:27

I have a time for my operation!

Tomorrow lunch time!

Nil by mouth from 2am. I'm very excited. There will be a CT scan in the morning and then the operation. Quite the journey round the hospital. Long snooze then back to the ward.

Did I tell you all that dinner is at 5pm?! 😮

Fortunately we only eat at home between 11 and 7pm so 7.50am to 5pm is not as bad as it sounds. But up until a few years ago I regularly ate at 7.30pm and 5pm is shockingly early.

The gerbil support really helps. I know about the time portal and lots of gerbils but those cakes are taller than the gerbils. Does Clara the Capybara get her team into help?

FuzzyPuffling · 09/10/2025 19:28

Gerbil cake pulleys.

Oops, I've just gone back again & realised that FlirtsWithRhinos WAS the OP - obviously enagaging with Flirts (or Rhinos) isn't pointless.

It's very appropriate in response to my baklava lament, so thank you! It comes from the Sandie Peggie tribunal. I fiddled aound with some designs for it a while ago - here are a couple.

Dr Upton claimed he wrote contemporaneous notes about Sandie Peggie's behaviour before the notorious incident on Christmas Eve 2023:

The evidence bundle seen by The Herald also revealed Dr Upton logged two separate changing rooms incidents with Ms Peggie in October 2023.
She first said on October 16, Ms Peggie walked into the changing room while Dr Upton was changing.
The nurse looked "taken aback," according to Dr Upton's note.
Dr Upton said she said 'hey', with Ms Peggie replying 'hi', before the nurse abruptly walked out, according to the phone notes.
Dr Upton's notes continue: "Once I'd gotten changed I left the changing room and she was waiting outside.
"She then entered the changing room despite having witnessed another doctor enter in the meantime.
"I know from hearing the other doctor mention it that she and the nurse had a conversation in the changing room.
"All very odd.
"Can't help but feel slightly upset/put off by this.
"Disappointed as appears that she chose not to enter because of me and didn't think I belonged there."
Dr Upton ended that note: "Sad times :/"

It's very sad indeed.

I don't like mean.

She doesn’t always use the same name but her anguish can sadly be recognisable. But any woman posting in similar vein obviously should have support if they’re being attacked or dismissed anyway.

A bit like Tom cruise in mission impossible but lowering their baked treasures down.

Can you have a sandwich for supper tonight or would that (counterintuitively) make you hungrier tomorrow morning?

Exactly!
But gerbils are better looking than Tom.

interesting drip arrangement though.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 09/10/2025 19:38

@MyrtleLion

You don't have to lock the gerbils in!

Dinner was at 5pm.

The Jakeman Fairies made a special delivery once I was admitted and the Haribo Gobblers want in on the action too. Plus the Walrus has provided emergency chilli and lemon curls (potato snacks) in case there isn't a suitable meal - some of the dairy free choices are inedible.

I will be fine. Remember the original operation? Nil by mouth from midnight. We finished eating at 7pm and my operation was at 1pm. It will be fine.
