I have a lot of Bluestockingry to catch up with - I've been following the tribunal du jour - Myrtle playing a blinder with the TT transcriptions again - and tidying the house because of friends who may or may not be stopping over at my house while going from Point A to Point B which is their home.
It looks like they are heading straight home, which is wise because Storm Amy is on its way. The wind is already starting up here i.e. the east of Ireland, so it must be bad already in the NW. The weather forecast on RTE radio last night included 'winds reaching Violent Storm force, increasing at times to hurricane force in the NW😱
Soooo.... starting with Myrtle - I'm very sorry to hear you've had a set-back, even worse because it was avoidable if you'd been listened to💙
And retrospective sympathies for all the things that made it necessary for so many of you to have metal bits put in..
You all deserve Deano's medals, but Myrtle's is current, AND she continued transcribing for the tribunal today in spite of her injuries, so I propose she receive the Bluestocking medal with two bars (she did the Fife tribunal under fire too)
Deano, I was waiting to see what the Gerbil Medal would be for, and I expected something spelt in their charmingly chaotic way, but I wasn't expecting the O'Casey ref! Brill😁
