Figured it was my turn for once!

Plus this way I beat the rush to the bar.

Now I must return to the previous thread to relocate my Tunnock's secret stash.

Serve yourselves until the bar gerbils arrive.

Will Maud return to the Bluey? She seems to be a Leader of Gerbils and I think we might need her.

I find it hard when they do the Scottish play. They tend to get their costumes all mixed up and you end up with the wrong gerbil wearing the wrong tartan.

You don't want to do that. I got a scarf in my family tartan and it's so loud I can't wear it to work for all the others can't hear themselves over it.

My family tartan (I'm on the distaff side but whatevs) is very similar to Royal Stewart so you hardly ever find it. Which is irritating.

I must mention that the gerbil names all begin with 'g' and it is unfortunate that

some people

keep forgetting the correct spelling of gMaud (the g is silent). These things matter you know.

She'll be back once Swash's and Dr Swash's blankets are delivered.

Is that a display case or a rather small set for one of their Busby Berkley dance numbers (a gerbil cultural specialty)? I can see exciting things happening with all those stairs, but maybe a bit more space would be an improvement.

Maud has decided to drop the silent g, she's humanised her name

I just have to remember it's like Irish, in the style of our immortal sage Myles na gCopaleen

I’m having another go.

Indeed, and is that beetle really suggesting

  1. that our great Irish writer was not human? (admittedly afaik he was not a gerbil either, though who knows?)

and

  1. that gerbils becoming human would be in any possible way even a little bit slightly desirable? They are agents of chaos. They need to be VERY small and squeaky and possible to outwit (sometimes).
ifIwerenotanandroid · 29/08/2025 20:05

I think we're all missing the important point here, which is: once you achieve bigly letters, how do you return to boring, normal-sized ones?

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 29/08/2025 18:50

Wait - what? Boily’s been banged up?

I’ve made a banner.

And now I want a lemon drizzle cake, and a lime one and a grapefruit one. Please and thank you.

Yes, Woley, it was on the BBC news website today, so it must be true:

Famous croc wrangler found guilty in evidence tampering trial

Welcome, LibertyKnickers, I hope you're enjoying the confusion as much as Taztoy isSmile

DeanElderberry · 29/08/2025 20:06

going down a line works
I think

SionnachRuadh · 29/08/2025 20:07

Our great writer was not a gerbil afaik, but he did come from Tyrone, which is as close as you can get to transcending the human species.

And he did coin the atomic theory whereby a rural postman might be 60% bicycle, and his bicycle have an equal portion of humanity, which makes as much scientific sense as many of the things we have explained to us.

And then there is Maud who is currently at Woolly Hugs HQ cat sitting for K&P

So the above was supposed to have images, mnhq marked them as safe but now they can't see them either so I'm giving them another go

There's some odd stuff in the ether. Who'd have this in their garden and not tidy the crap behind it?
Or maybe it landed on the crap?
Anyway, if Dr Who is around ( female generation only) can you sort it please?

Nothing to do with me.

You'll have to take it up with Maud on her return

I don't know, but I suspect Adam West is to blame.

I have a sentimental fondness for Adam West, who to me is the American Roger Moore, but by cracky he had some odd adventures in his CV.
