I posted on the Woolley Hugs thread but also want to say it here in the Blue Stocking:

Dear Swash, I'm one of the non-needlewomen in the Bluestocking so 'my' square with the blue shamrock is Android's work, and I'm so glad to be represented on the blanket.

So we are all sending woolly hugs, as well as love and strength to you and your daughter.

Swash, I cannot imagine what you and your daughter must be going through, but I so hope that when the blanket arrives it brings some sort of comfort.

I've contributed to Woolly Hugs before, but this one is the one I'm proudest to be part of.

It is truly going to be a virtual hug - @Swashbuckled , you and Bear and your DD are being held in so many hearts.

Many of us are holding you and your DD in our thoughts.

Apparently you can buy nail polish thinner, not acetone, some other chemical which might salvage a beloved varnish that's got a bit thick or dry. I've never tried it myself but there's at least one YouTuber that's made a channel about it under the moniker Vintage Dusties iirc. She's restored elderly bottles that were just dried gunk to usable product and she has really pointy nails.

Finished my last two squares this morning. Unfortunately and despite my best efforts the bear looks very suss. I've put a note in the package saying that Knotty is within her rights to leave him out...

I wonder how big Swash's blanket is going to be? We must've passed 11 x 9 by now.

I have asked what they will do if they get more than 99 squares.

A second blanket for young Doc Swash??

I think a second blanket for young Dr Swash would be a perfect way to ensure all the squares are used. And spreads the love.

Or if not enough for a whole blanket, cushion covers? Cushions are great for a hug.

I'd be happy to do a few more squares towards a blanket for Dr. Swash.
