It looks like the trans movement has abandoned the TWAW/TMAM claim which used to be front and centre.
Any suggestion that transwomen were in any way not 100% women, just like the rest of us women, was unforgivably, even criminally, transphobic.
That didn't fly very well, and now we see statements like 'I am a transman, I don't deny that I am a biological woman but I present as a man'.
Surely this is a complete reversal of the definition of transwoman/transman?
Transpeople are no longer claiming to be the opposite of the sex which they were born into. After years of basing their whole raison d'être on changing sex, literally.
The prefix 'trans' now seems to mean 'not, but presenting as', as in 'not a woman therefore a man but presenting as a woman' or 'not a man therefore a woman but presenting as a man'.
It actually undermines the whole basis of the trans movement. It's a pretty extraordinary turnaround, and needs to be highlighted.
Regarding providing specific material on pregnancy for transmen and binary parents - it seems superfluous, since transmen remain [as we've always known] biologically female, and they don't even seem to make an issue of being female any more, so what's the need for any special information?
