Hi all,

Just flagging this for any lesbian or bi women who’ve felt pushed out of Pride, or like something’s quietly disappeared.

We’re organising a lesbian and bisexual women-only march on Saturday 5th July in central London. It’s the same day as the main Pride event – but we’re not part of their route, and we’re not affiliated.

Time: 11.00 AM
Meeting point: Emmeline Pankhurst Statue, Victoria Tower Gardens South (by Parliament)
Route: Walk to Parliament Square for a few short speeches, then back to the park for a picnic (or a nearby pub if it rains)

No men. No brands. No pressure.
Just women. In public. Without compromise.

It’s fully self-funded. All permits, insurance, stewards and first aid are covered.

RSVP now
Click “Attend” – even if you’re only thinking of coming. It helps us plan and it shows other women that this space is real.
New faces always welcome.
Meetup

If you’re coming alone or feeling nervous, join our entry WhatsApp group – we’ll look after you:
chat.whatsapp.com/FCsLSOzgV4C2yUGplyQr5m
(This is our public group – open to everyone before vetting. The private WhatsApp spaces are strictly filtered. Only verified, registered women are added after screening. To move into those, register and complete sex verification here: thelcommunity.com)

If you want to understand the story behind why this is needed:

They didn’t make space for us. So we did.

cariadlet · 05/07/2025 10:31

I'm a straight woman so won't be there but I hope my lesbian sisters have a lovely day.

IDareSay · 05/07/2025 10:43

Wishing all who attend a fantastic day full of laughter and good company, with no nonsense from anyone else.

BezMills · 05/07/2025 11:06

Good wishes, enjoy your day together!

I think anyone reading this thread will realise exactly why it is that we need to have the concept of Women Only Spaces enshrined in actual fucking legal law of the land and displayed in neon lights with the backing of a gospel choir for the benefit of the hard of thinking.

maltravers · 05/07/2025 11:44

I how you’re having a great time, post some photos afterwards please for your straight sisters 🙂

Feelingleftoutagain · 05/07/2025 14:23

Please let us know how it goes

Is this a gender critical event?

There you are, Chris!

And for the lesbians like me who couldn't make it! (Grrrr....)

BezMills · 05/07/2025 16:10

@CompleteGinasaur that username tho. Chef kiss

CompleteGinasaur · 05/07/2025 16:26

Thanks muchly, @BezMills, it's leftover from the David Lammy "rights hoarding" comments, I don't know if you remember a bunch of us changed to dino names in honour of that piece of stupidity, and I liked mine so much I never changed it back. After all, I am as a second wave feminist a complete dinosaur. And as much as it might (oh, I really hope it does) gall the likes of India Willoughby and the interchangeable army of trolls who rock up here on the regular, I do have a complete, standard issue vagina. Portmanteau words for the win!

TheOtherRaven · 05/07/2025 16:44

How did it go? Hoping you all had a lovely time!

I've posted in the other thread about this. Only 2 people shouted at us. One weirdo cycled up to us and started shouting 'fucking terfs' Aida claims a load of them turned up to counter protest but left when they realised there were only a few of us. He didn't he's lying, he wasn't there.
And yes it was a good day and didn't rain ☔ 😁

BezMills · 06/07/2025 15:21

Aida claims a lot of things

No Way Lol GIF by Hello All

Wasn't there.... oh and he was talking so big about it too! So glad you had a good time!

GreenFriedTomato · 06/07/2025 15:50

If Aida (and his 70+ army) were actually there, surely one of them would have taken photos of this 'sad barely-above-big-poly hate group' (his words). Surely they would have been shared on Reddit for all his friends and allies to mock. I haven't seen any. Also, parliament square and surrounding areas were pretty quiet. 70+ trans would have stood out like a sore thumb unless they all went disguised as overseas tourists

Unless he was the cyclist?

Well when you've got to rush around London to find and shout at small groups of women who might feel sad without you in their man-free lesbianing, I can see it would be helpful.

Thankfully these women were clearly having a lovely time without him.
