Hi all,

Just flagging this for any lesbian or bi women who’ve felt pushed out of Pride, or like something’s quietly disappeared.

We’re organising a lesbian and bisexual women-only march on Saturday 5th July in central London. It’s the same day as the main Pride event – but we’re not part of their route, and we’re not affiliated.

Time: 11.00 AM
Meeting point: Emmeline Pankhurst Statue, Victoria Tower Gardens South (by Parliament)
Route: Walk to Parliament Square for a few short speeches, then back to the park for a picnic (or a nearby pub if it rains)

No men. No brands. No pressure.
Just women. In public. Without compromise.

It’s fully self-funded. All permits, insurance, stewards and first aid are covered.

RSVP now
Click “Attend” – even if you’re only thinking of coming. It helps us plan and it shows other women that this space is real.
New faces always welcome.
Meetup

If you’re coming alone or feeling nervous, join our entry WhatsApp group – we’ll look after you:
chat.whatsapp.com/FCsLSOzgV4C2yUGplyQr5m
(This is our public group – open to everyone before vetting. The private WhatsApp spaces are strictly filtered. Only verified, registered women are added after screening. To move into those, register and complete sex verification here: thelcommunity.com)

If you want to understand the story behind why this is needed:

https://thelcommunity.com/taking-back-pride/

They didn’t make space for us. So we did.

No, you do not want peace, you want to preach transphobia.

There is a reason you do not state "trans women excluded" at your event descriptions anymore, as you know how that ends, now you just try dancing around the subject and preach "peace" while you preach hate.

People on mumsnet may buy it, I will check if london authority does too regarding your protest permit, and just how honest you were when describing the event to them.

Same with the police, as transphobic events require disclosing that fact properly to them.

Now if you want peace and embrace love and everyone, welcome to join all the other lesbians on pride, but that's not what you are about.

Keep going. You’re doing a grand job

@AidaP go away you silly creepy man. Your incel basement needs a good hoover and your poor mum's already told you to open your windows and clear that Matterhorn of solid used tissues up 😷

That is certainly descriptive! Matterhorn... eeewww!

Every time 2 women talk to each other and it isn't about men, a trans person is harmed. Please give generously to the stop women talking fund and know that 100% of your donation goes to help men.

Even though this site is largely for women, I do occasionally wish that more men would see what goes on here.

because it's just a microcosm of what goes on everywhere.

And Watching it unfold in real life and following the tactics would indeed be very enlightening. Only for men who wished to be enlightened, of course.

Absolutely agree - I joined here years ago when the site was hacked - I helped the techies sort out the hacking, and I have hung around since...

The journey on here to push society back to an understanding of reality has been fascinating - and being even a tiny part of it is an honour... but the frustration at those who don't see the misogyny / agressive behaviour / attempts to force an agenda, is still there - but step by step, people will see the truth eventually and those who refuse to acknowledge it will increasingly be labelled as deluded...

The Right Side of History really are doing some exemplary work on this thread, aren't they?

Oooooooh noooooo, here comes Aida and “her” pals, making sure that men are represented at the Lesbian march.

Yes and it looks like they also believe it's an arrestable offence.

I don't know what they're drinking, but they believe women can be committing a crime for being lesbians. 🙄

It’s like that Not The Nine O’Clock News Racist Copper sketch, only with the racist tropes switched out for lesbian ones.

Christinapple · 16/06/2025 13:57

Yes but is it a gender critical "lesbian" march?

I think the public should be aware.

It says it's a lesbian event so the only requirement is to be a lesbian (and yes that means women)

I can see why the confusion, but that's because gender critical = knowing the difference between men and women and knowing the difference between men and women is also true of most humans now and since we first walked upright.

LastTrainsEast · 17/06/2025 12:53

AidaP · 16/06/2025 15:15

I'll ask the question more bluntly - are trans women lesbians allowed?

There are no transwomen lesbians.

Lesbian means same sex attracted woman.

Glad to help.

But that’s the point … many lesbian and bisexual women feel that pride no longer represents them.
And that’s okay, we’re not saying it shouldn’t go ahead we just want our own space.

I’m a bisexual woman and for the first time in years I’m not going to my local (well known) pride. I would however, got to an event like the one being organised by the OP.

I’m bisexual and married to a man. I showed him this thread earlier and he’s been sending me train times and hotels all morning as he knows how much this would mean to me. At no point has he got angry that the event doesn’t include him.
So who knows, might see some of you there ❤️

So, no trans women?

I'll start arranging the anti transphobia counter protest, thanks for clarification!

The event is perfectly legal under UK law.

Those unhappy with UK law can vote accordingly in future, run for office themselves or they have the option to move to some place with laws more to their liking.

Iran perhaps?

I think AidaP would prefer Talibanic Afghanistan.

Yes but is it a gender critical "lesbian" march?

I think the public should be aware.

This does make me laugh.

The public should be aware of a march for gay people, a characteristic protected by the equality act, many of whom very likely express a belief, also protected by the equality act.

I mean telling 'the public' about gay womens legal marches whilst manifesting the belief that sex is real, might sound like A Plan in Chris's head...

Anzena · 17/06/2025 13:19

The sweat of desperation from TiMs, should use Mitchum to curb that.

BundleBoogie · 17/06/2025 13:21

TheOtherRaven · 17/06/2025 08:13

Incidentally for the lurkers:

actually homosexual women were driven out of LGB groups years ago, many of them went underground in groups to escape the bullying and enforced centering of men you can see here being demonstrated so well, and many just stopped going anywhere near anything with a rainbow on it. Most of my LG friends would rather stab themselves with forks than go near the tedious wankery of 'Pride' although we were there marching in the days when it was a brave thing to do to stand in a public place and be willing to say you were gay.

So these 'surveys' are always exclusively of the gender obedient, self selected by being known to gender obedient groups and lists, and therefore come back with the desired evidence that yes, of course the burning desire of a homosexual woman is to have sex with a biological man. The gender ideologists will often tell you they've never met a lesbian in their LGB+ groups who isn't gladly embracing of men in lesbianism, and this would be because they have driven them all out. I mean would you want to be in a group where there were people behaving towards homosexuality like the couple of posters performing here?

Lesbianism, for some, is all and entirely about male egos. Women having their own lives and separating themselves is absolutely unacceptable. (Although any other kink would be warmly embraced.)

Edited

As a heterosexual bystander it appears that there is an ideal opportunity for gay men to stand up and be counted and call out the bullying of lesbians by the trans lobby but many high profile gay men (who may well have been helped in their campaigning by lesbians back in the day) are very pro trans and anti lesbian.

OuterSpaceCadet · 17/06/2025 13:22

This thread has got me wondering why the laugh react emoji has gone. Was it being used to laugh at male posters?

I think the public should be aware.

I'll tell you what "the public" are becoming increasingly aware of, mate - the pathetic, misogynistic, bullying tactics of you and your fellow TRAs like @AidaP

And no, @AidaP, there will be no "transwoman lesbians" at the march, because they do not, and cannot, exist.

Lesbians and bisexual women are same sex attracted. And however much trancels like you stamp your feet, there is nothing you can do legally to stop them gathering peacefully.

#TWAW didn't work. #nodebate didn't work. #bekind didn't work. Give it up. Your time has passed. Women won't wheesht any more.

FuckityFux · 17/06/2025 13:28

@AidaPso you’re admitting that you’re homophobic? Maybe you should scuttle back under your rock?

@AidaP you really do sound like you are losing your shit. It’s unhinged. Just because some lesbians want to meet up without men???? And you feel that you must stop them at any cost because.. what????

It’s giving us all a first hand insight into the controlling nature of the angry man who feels he has been crossed.

GailBlancheViola · 17/06/2025 13:52

Going back to this by AidaP, quite the threat because yes we do know what happens when the men you represent are told NO, out come the threats of violence and actual violence, out comes the hatred, out comes the sheer unadulterated homophobia, misogyny and racism. We've all seen it, everyone sees it and loathes and detests you for your nasty bullying. It is not because of transphobia it is your own behaviour that damns you.

How about "No riff-raff" ?

Lovelyview · 17/06/2025 14:11

I first found the Mumsnet FWR board in Jan 2024 when I was trying to find out why anyone thought a male rapist who called himself Isla Bryson had been held in a women's prison and could be recorded as a woman on police records. The main thing moving me from concern to 'absolutely no way' were the TRAs showing their horrific misogyny on this board. So thanks, I guess , TRAs for making me realise that no man will ever be any kind of woman and that trans activists are the very worst of men.
