TRAs online attack on a bunny rescue

Carrot Cottage Rabbit Rescue is, well what it says. They have a policy on twix of they follow back anyone who follows them.

JKR follows them and they followed back so the TRAs have taken 'action' including reporting them to the Charity Commission.

In response t the pile on The Famous Artist Birdy Rose sent them a picture as a gift and they are now selling merch with it on.

There are literally 1000s of us that now follow them on X because the TRAs started harassing them. I think I started following them just over a week ago and they’re already 5000 more followers since then.

The TRAS are fucking mental. (Well, we knew that already).

I scrolled down for a while but I couldn't find the original attack. Too many bunny pictures distracted me.

From what I can gather it started because James Dreyfus follows them, and the TRA’s just started attacking them because of that. There was one poster who demanded that that they block and unfollow a whole list of people, and then issue a statement to the effect that they 💯 support and validate trans people, the bunny sanctuary said no and that’s when they started reporting them to the charity commission.

These people are batshit crazy, but apparently it’s not a mental health issue.

Imagine- just imagine reporting a small 2-person run bunny sanctuary to the charity commission because of the above.

As has been pointed out before, this is a cult. I wonder if they will ever come out of their vague opaque mist and return to some sort of sanity.

I love that the bunnies lost about 200 followers and gained about 10,000.

I read all the other thread, but didn't click on the bunny pictures, because bunnies aren't really my thing.

It's shocking, really, when 'normal' people encounter transactivism. They have absolutely no idea about The Borg.

Did you read the post about the greyhound sanctuary being shut down by trans activists in Australia? It doesn't say what drew the TA's ire but the sanctuary dealt with the greyhound racing industry so they were leveraged against the sanctuary, if I understood correctly.

So, what then happened to the dogs? Death, I'd imagine.

The Charity Commission involvement seems drastic but it sounds as though at least one sensible suggestion was made and adopted (a complaint form on their website) so perhaps some good came from it.

Hadn’t heard about the greyhound rescue, no but that sounds appalling.
But tbh it does usually work the other way round. If you need fund raise in the UK, piss off the TRAs and they’ll do the rest for you. Attracts thousands of followers and donations in mere fraction of the time traditional methods take. Us terfy witches and our disposable income, what are we like, eh? Tsk.

I truly think that the TRAs thought the bunny rescue was run by a bullyable woman. I follow them now, as well.
