TRAs online attack on a bunny rescue

Carrot Cottage Rabbit Rescue is, well what it says. They have a policy on twix of they follow back anyone who follows them.

JKR follows them and they followed back so the TRAs have taken 'action' including reporting them to the Charity Commission.

In response t the pile on The Famous Artist Birdy Rose sent them a picture as a gift and they are now selling merch with it on.

What happened originally was that they followed everyone back who followed them without vetting their political views. They followed someone who had made a genuinely nasty (non GC) comment I think, because they just followed back everyone - because they are a rabbit rescue centre not a political account - and when a TRA who identifies as a member of “the bunny community” challenged them they unfollowed that account and responded along those lines. The TRA wasn’t satisfied with this approach and then looked at the other accounts they were following for wrongthink. And it all spiralled from there. James Dreyfus retweeted their account and of course that sent them into a tailspin.

It was fairly recently discovered that rabbits society is run by the does. The sisters (one sadly deceased now) tolerated Howard’s shenanigans as long as he toed the line and did his grooming duties to their satisfaction. 😂
Kiki is such a fluffball that I have to check for ears to work out if I’m talking to the right end. Although her fluffy butt is so marvellous that I often talk to it anyway 😁

Thanks so much. . She is marginally better today and managed to have a chat on the phone. It's taken weeks to figure out what it was- but turns out it is 3 types of infection (she is immuno-suppressed) which is playing havoc with her heart.
