Quite.
Normally I wouldn't raise deletions, as they've been dealt with and have gone.
But that one, is really relevant precisely because accusations are admissions. The hypocracy needs to be seen. As does the attempt to silence through defamation and throwing about malicious comments to guilt by association.
Its really not going to work against me. I've been around long enough on here and I know the drill about trying to shame to silence. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
I suspect this is some of the feeling those brave women who did go to the event at the weekend feel. They are better people than I am, and I take my hat off to them, because I don't have to deal with it to anything like the same extent.
I know other posters saw the deleted comment because it wasn't me who reported it. I don't know how many did see it, but enough. I called it out straight away - that post does still stand and is time stamped before the comments on this thread, so its demonstrable that it happened.
I can tolerate the name calling if it shows up whats really going on, and the depth and extent of the social side of this. The more visibility it has, the more people will go 'hey this really isn't ok'. Its not being normalised here. Its very much showing its extremist nature. So I'll take it all damn thread if need be.
The answer remains No.
