WHO THIS IS FOR
Lesbian and bisexual women only.
No men.
No exceptions.
(One male photographer will be present for documentation only—non-participant, opt-out photos available.)
WHY WE’RE MARCHING
Because Pride doesn’t speak for us anymore.
Because lesbian voices are sidelined.
Because we’re done being quiet.
This is a march for lesbians, by lesbians—about visibility, truth, solidarity, and joy.
SUPPORTIVE FRIENDS
Straight female friends can attend only in a support role.
This isn’t a hen do. This is a statement. Respect the space.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Powerful speeches (3 mins each, max 15–20 mins total)
Peaceful march to Parliament
Back to the park for picnic & connection
Opportunities to meet others building lesbian space

For the benefit of others, Aida accused me of being the type of person who spat at gay people and transpeople and said what a terrible person I was earlier this week just because I have challenged them here. Others reported it. So it was deleted.

I might be slightly agog at what's been posted on this thread. (And that's without various other posts this week)

I think it's very important piece of background information and needs to be explicitly stated.

I actually hope they are a troll on the wind up at this point.

GreenFriedTomato · 06/07/2025 13:55

Hopefully Aida has pissed off to bother someone else. Or get some more validation on Reddit. I don't want to engage any further with this individual. His posts yesterday- justifying including children in adult sex fetishes were beyond disturbing and made my skin crawl. Maybe he's just a sad troll. Maybe he's a sick monster. Maybe we'll never know

Waitingfordoggo · 06/07/2025 10:33

I mean there are clearly more than five people in the photo @AidaP😂 I’m glad you left the women alone to enjoy their day.

People left quickly, there is a video of the protest on twitter and only 7 people in it

GreenFriedTomato · 06/07/2025 15:05

There were 14. It doesn't really matter if it's 1 person or 1000. And we all left pretty quickly when Palestine Action' turned up to protest right next to us and triggered a full scale police intervention .
What's your point exactly?

It’s hard to tell from @simsbustinoutmimi’s posts whether they object to lesbians in general or to lesbians who want a lesbian-only event.

Lesbians who want a purely lesbian event. In fact all gay people / LGBT people who demand a parade. Great, you’re gay, lesbian, bi , trans…get over it.

simsbustinoutmimi · 06/07/2025 15:49

Being LGBT doesn’t make you special.

Well, at least you’re not like AidaP & purely objecting to us not including males.

At least I don’t think you are…

Objecting to the whole parade thing not being gay in general. My sister is gay and thinks the exact same thing, these parades are unnecessary and stupid

GreenFriedTomato · 06/07/2025 15:56

simsbustinoutmimi · 06/07/2025 15:49

Being LGBT doesn’t make you special.

Our wasn't an LGBT parade. It was a small march asking to have our own spaces back. Do you really object to Lesbians or straight women wanting a space of their own with no men included? Why shouldn't we have them ? it doesn't affect anyone else

Feelingleftoutagain · 06/07/2025 15:56

AidaP · 06/07/2025 10:50

I literally said that we didn't, after seeing that we would outnumber you at least 5x. No reason to give you validity, keep in your barely-above-big-poly hate group, enjoy I guess? But that day spoke loudly, you may get all the love in your hermetic online spaces, but it translates to sadness in real life.

From little waves grow a tsunami, they are but small but they will grow

TheOtherRaven · 06/07/2025 16:05

Looking at the picture of the women who attended, they look like they're having a great time to me. No 'sadness' for them, their real life looked grand 😍

IwantToRetire · 06/07/2025 20:01

On one level it is just irritating that complete waste of space idiots turn up and post aggressive and anti lesbian messages.

But on the other had is a really useful to have living examples of why women generally, and lesbians, needs spaces where they are free from attack by only being with each other.

Firstly the idea that anyone thought to have a counter protest. How disproportionate and aggressive. The event was offered as an alternative to the now commercialised "Pride" event. It wasn't to stop Pride. But these people who seem to go completely over the top when women dare to organise autonomously, only serve to illustrate why women need their own spaces.

Well done boys. You have really shown yourselves up for who you really are.

And even if it had only been 2 or 3 women it is still a signal to others who are isolated maybe because they are not in London or another large city, that there are lesbians who know what a lesbian is. And sadly I can understand, and it is really back luck, that the Palestine Action protest took place nearby and was heavily policed.

So I hope everyone who went to this event and the one near Hampstead Women's Pond had a really great time.

Lesbians it turns out are independent thinkers and activists, and even if Pride wasn't such a commercialised male exhibition, they know they can do much better for themselves by meeting up and celebrating with each other.

AidaP

Firstly, well done for the involuntary context of kicking women who've been beaten. Everyone sees it.

And secondly, no one believes you were there!

Risible nonsense.

ApocalipstickNow · 06/07/2025 21:05

AidaP · 06/07/2025 10:13

Oh yeah, we went over to counter protest and there was like... five people over there so we we just went back to pride lol.

We don't kick someone already down and beaten.

So how many lesbians need to attend before you start kicking them?

Still, well done on the self restraint.

TheOtherRaven · 06/07/2025 21:08

maltravers · 06/07/2025 11:39

Seeking out women who won’t submit in order to threaten them. It’s hard not to conclude this has become a pleasurable recreational activity for some with a Y chromosome.

Thankfully it's turned out to just be a fantasy, something that happened only in his head.

But the imagery of the language makes fairly clear where such fantasies go.

Annoyedone · 06/07/2025 21:22

GreenFriedTomato · 06/07/2025 10:41

Oh Aida. There was no counter protest.
But there was some weird American dude on a bike that cycled right up to us and started shouting 'you're not inclusive, you're fucking Terfs! (Before being escorted away by the police who had to put up with him wanging on at them for ages)
Was that you Aida dear ?

That was @AidaP 😂😂😂😂😂😂

GreenFriedTomato · 06/07/2025 21:37

See, this is what a 'Lesbian' group looks like these days.
A society that welcomes men and anyone of any sexuality. So not a lesbian society. Why call it that? Call yourselves a People's society or simply A Society.

Really, this constant redefining of terms that have been fine for years and the need for total inclusion is beyond annoying. Some of us just want our own exclusive space that doesn't have to include everyone. We had them years ago and we'll get them back

Yeah, you may want to revisit your high horse based on yesterdays reality, or not and keep living in lala land.

First some facts: your event is not about lesbians, it's about being anti trans. There is a reason you stopped spelling it out, as when it happens you were refused license by the city to organize your rallies at all.

Second lesbians, by far and wide, are the most welcoming group of transgender people in general. Survey of dating site showed over 80% approval of such, rising over 90% when it's a trans woman after genital surgery.

That's why when you plan something silly like that for months, you end up with ~10-15 people turning up, because no, it's not actually supported. There were thousands of lesbians just few miles away at the pride event instead, they had the time, they just do not like your transphobia.

But that's the way transphobes work, od a rally once a blue moon, get 10-45 people in, depends on how many you will bus around from around the country, and then make tons of excuses about how "everyone supports us anyway", even though this is repeated and stead pattern.

Also, well, get used to the idea that if you make a transphobic rally, people who do not stand for transphobia will turn up to oppose it. Happens literally every single time, you should know the drill.

Waitwhat23 · 06/07/2025 21:53

shudders

Creepy men pretending to be lesbians.

Brrrrr.

Solidarity to all lesbians who have to deal with this mind bendingly homophobic anti women nonsense.

No you are gaslighting. It was a pro lesbian rally. Nothing about anti trans unless you are admitting that to be pro trans = anti women/lesbian. Which we all know it is to you misogynists. You males cannot allow females to have anything to ourselves show you show up to throw around your misogynistic, anti female, hate-filled weight. But you're losing the war, and you know it.

And please provide evidence of this statement rising over 90% when it's a trans woman after genital surgery..

Mate, lesbians don't do dick. Get over it.

The highest court in the land has said men are not lesbians, never, ever, evah, all the live long day, til the cows come home.

The answer is no.

Feelingleftoutagain · 06/07/2025 22:28

Why do trans always make it about them? Always playing the victim, always blaming others, just accept woman want spaces for woman and that doesn't include you!

Ooh! Get you darling. Great oaks from little acorns grow.

Annoyedone · 07/07/2025 05:59

I feel so sorry for you @aidap You obviously had very poor parents who didn’t teach you manners or basic rules like “not everyone can be included in everything” and “the world does not revolve about you”. You claim to be a woman but your male privilege shines through every post. You might want to work on that. If you were really a woman, you’d be following the female social rules of minimising yourself, not butting in where you’re not wanted, doing your best not to make people uncomfortable and of course… being kind. You are doing none of those things.

the reason men claiming a trans identity hate this board and women who say no to them is we’re not following those rules either. They can’t stand it.
