WHY WE’RE MARCHING
Because Pride doesn’t speak for us anymore.
Because lesbian voices are sidelined.
Because we’re done being quiet.
This is a march for lesbians, by lesbians—about visibility, truth, solidarity, and joy.
SUPPORTIVE FRIENDS
Straight female friends can attend only in a support role.
This isn’t a hen do. This is a statement. Respect the space.

I can’t think why seeing a photo of some people you don’t know smiling and holding placards makes you feel embarrassed.

Oh yeah, we went over to counter protest and there was like... five people over there so we we just went back to pride lol.

But there was some weird American dude on a bike that cycled right up to us and started shouting 'you're not inclusive, you're fucking Terfs! (Before being escorted away by the police who had to put up with him wanging on at them for ages)

So you freely admit you went to confront a group you didn't like, who were crucially away from the main march deliberately.

There are many reasons women do not attend events like this. The main one is through fear of people like you.
Yes it was a small turn out and there was a group who decided they didn't want to be on camera (understandable). It doesn't matter. Women still had their chance to be visible and say their piece.

And you're lying. You weren't there. If you outnumbered us by at least 5? I would have spotted a group of 70+ TIMs hanging around and I was watching.

Oh and if you were there (which you weren't). ..surely you would have noticed the massive police presence with riot vans and why we ended up cutting the meeting short after approximately 10 minutes.

When I think I'm absolutely done with this horrible movement, another man reminds me I still haven't fully understood it's grim depths. You have no place in women's spaces, your behaviour is not anything that women should have to waste their time dealing with.

I'm still nauseated that a man's ego so threatened by this small group of non compliant women that he had to go over especially to control and defeat them.

There is no good in him trying to wang on about how little they matter and how irrelevant they are, and how all the righteous straight sex providing 'lesbians' were at Pride - when he had to go and control this little group. They were more important to him than the entire parade.

And there you go. Men in women's spaces in a nutshell. Non consenting women are bloody catnip.
