Guess we'll finally find out whether Imane Khelif is female or not. I suspect he will avoid the testing "out of principle" 🤭

Khelif had time to do a PCR test between the WB announcement and the Eindhoven competition if the Algerians had wanted to do it. ‘Psychological damage’ my arse.

At the end of the day Imane's hurt feelings will always take precedence over the women he's cheated against.

It's baffling (not really) that so many men have sympathy for the man being called out for what he is—a man—and not the women he's battered, or the women he might batter. A bloke I'm ashamed to know offline told me the other day that it's a 'messed up what they're doing to her, even if she is male'.

I wanted to bang my head against the wall.

A man's ego is apparently a truly massive thing.

On a scale, by itself, it magically outweighs ABH and risk of death to any number of women.

That's incidentally how you spot the actual women: they're the disposable ones who aren't allowed egos. Just ABH.

RedToothBrush · 05/06/2025 13:15

He added that the statement had internationally harmed “our national sports movement” and that Khelif was not given “the right to defend herself” nor did World Boxing “hear from the doctors specialising in endocrinology who follow her.”

Every other female boxer has an endocrinology specialist following them, don't they?

Oh wait. No they don't need one. Why is that?

They are simultaneously saying that World Boxing has caused damage by leaking medical information whilst leaking private medical information themselves.

Duh.

sashh · 05/06/2025 13:33

OK here we go again

Him: What about the right to play competitive football? The FA banned them from women's football after the EHRC ruling and the overwhelming majority of female players have said they don't want that. Some of them have gone so far as to set up their own, inclusive league.

Or the announcement by the British Transport Police a while back that trans women would from now on be strip searched by male officers — why? Who does that protect? It's cruelty for the sake of cruelty.

Don't for a second imagine that women are the only group that had to fight for their rights. The Stonewall riots came about in no small part because there was a law against wearing clothing that didn't match your birth gender. That law no longer exists and it's becaues the queer community fought and fought hard for the rights that you are now campaigning against. You're not on the side of women's rights. You're on the side of hatred and bigotry.

Me:Biological men can play football with other men. And you REALLY don't want to go into the FA's treatment of women. BTS policy protects female officers who don't want to see a penis at work. And the Stonewall riots? Really you do know it was Lesbians don't you? Gender as you probably know is a social construct damaging to all in society but particularly to women. So what rights don't trans people have? Third time of asking.

Don't forget how this started. I objected to a man beating women up, you were the one who brought up trans.

He's not going to stop. We are now in 'don't wrestle with a pig, you both get muddy but the pig enjoys it' territory.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 05/06/2025 13:36

Where is this survey of “the overwhelming majority of all female players”?

sashh · 05/06/2025 13:36

I'm enjoying it now though

sashh · 05/06/2025 13:38

OK my lunch has arrived so I'm leaving this for now. I'm sure he is at work surrounded by his stonewall mates and they are trying to come up with arguments.

murasaki · 05/06/2025 13:39

sashh · 05/06/2025 13:36

Fair enough, I'm enjoying it vicariously.

Datun · 05/06/2025 13:44

fucking hell. It's impossible for him to take his eye off the man in this equation.

It fucking protects the women police officers who don't want to take part in this bloke's fantasy and be forced to touch his genitals.

I'm glad you're enjoying it *sashh. *It means your blood's up and you know what you're talking about.

I think, personally, I get a little battle weary with the same old shit.

But well done. And I honestly wouldn't hold back on calling out his misogyny. Wherever you see it, say it.

Datun · 05/06/2025 13:45

And yes he obviously doesn't want to respond to what rights trans people don't have. Because he knows it's not right, it's a demand.

The right to access unconsenting women is the only right they want. It's the only one they're talking about. It would appear that he knows this

ThatCyanCat · 05/06/2025 13:47

It probably is psychologically damaging to be mistaken for a girl at birth, raised a girl and then find out you're not. But women arent obliged to lose their right to fair and safe sport and get their medals stolen and be knocked about by a man, and be gaslit over it, so that the man can pretend it isn't true. It's not his mental health therapy, any more than accessing naked women and girls against their will is therapy for other men.

NoBinturongsHereMate · 05/06/2025 13:49

Yes, if Khelif had gone ahead with the CAS case the IBA would have been responsible for the court costs. And everything would have been on the public record - what better defence?

Yes. But who has caused the psychological harm here?

The Algerian Boxing Federation who colluded with Khelif and insisted there was no problem even when there clearly was?

Or those who leaked this, after women got hurt and it damaged the intrigrity of the sport and had caused psychological and psyhical harm to women in what has become essentially a whistleblowing incident?

The Algerian Boxing Federation in theory could be blamed here. Instead they've come out swing to pass the buck and dodge their responsibilities to their own representative....

nauticant · 05/06/2025 14:09

I'm beginning to wonder whether the World Boxing apology to Khelif yesterday (?) was part of an exit strategy to present to the public that Khelif had been wronged terribly in some way thus enabling him to not show up on the basis of massive upset that had been caused.

SabrinaThwaite · 05/06/2025 14:25

BettyBooper · 05/06/2025 12:13

And here we have it 😂

'Irreparable psychological damage'. 🙄 My eyes can't roll back far enough.

On TwiX, ITV is busy hiding replies - like the one from Martina Navratilova.

Well this was created just in time

😂

I'm really missing the laugh emoji. I think it should be reinstated just for this board!

sashh · 05/06/2025 14:42

I'm glad people are enjoying it, I wasn't sure if I was just indulging myself. I don't think I will be posting on there today, I'm usually awake early so I will no doubt have more tomorrow.

WallaceinAnderland · 05/06/2025 14:47

Shit. What are we supposed to do with all the pies now 😩

nauticant · 05/06/2025 14:50

I think you're after having this discussion@sashh:

GailBlancheViola · 05/06/2025 14:51

Or the announcement by the British Transport Police a while back that trans women would from now on be strip searched by male officers — why? Who does that protect? It's cruelty for the sake of cruelty.

The announcement also covered women only being searched by biological female officers not men who claim to be women, hence protecting women from being sexually assaulted by men searching them.

I may be wrong but wasn't there something in it that said transwomen could request to be searched by a transwomen officer? I would bet none of them do though because it is the female ones they want to force into searching them and we all know why that is.
