Guess we'll finally find out whether Imane Khelif is female or not. I suspect he will avoid the testing "out of principle" 🤭

Just when you thought it couldn’t get more batshit. Maybe those famous Z chromosomes were to blame?

So 'Terfs' are bad for calling men who are clearly men men.

But it's fine for men to try to argue that some women look masculine?

Make it make sense.

This thread has been really interesting, not least because all of the TRAs that used to crop on these threads are so silent.

Has there been any response from Khalif or Algeria generally on the disclosure of this test that proves he's a man? Or the IOC?

Just a post on Insta on being made a UNICEF champion.

'Today, I became a champion, but it all started long ago!
When my parents believed in me, even when the dream felt too big.
When they supported me, listened to me, and stood by me.
Being a parent isn’t easy. There’s no manual.
But the love, patience, and trust you give your child can change everything.
On this #GlobalDayOfParents, I just want to say thank you.
Thank you to every parent who chooses, every single day, to be there for their children.

I think Princess Anne was excused a sex test because royal. Failed one😁

Latest comment and my reply.

OK, let's talk about question three shall we? So you're terribly concerned about cis women being raped by trans women in women's prisons. Great. But your solution to that is apparently to move all the trans women — whether they have hurt anyone or not — into a men's prison. What do you think will happen to them there? What do you think will happen to the trans women you force into men's toilets? You can't simultaneously argue that segregating them is important for women's safety and that they'll be perfectly safe in men's spaces, so I have to assume you simply don't care if trans women get hurt.

My reply

OK Question 3. But before that, why do you keep using the slur 'cis' I have asked you not to several times. Answer to Q 3I am concerned about all rapes, it should not happen to anyone. It certainly should not be happening in a single sex space like a hospital ward or a prison. Anyone convicted of rape should not be in a women's prison. You do know that legally rape in this country require a penis don't you? Anyone with a penis should not be in women's spaces. Trans women are biologically male, they should be in male prisons and there should be trans wings, that is actually something the prison service is looking at providing. Men's toilets, this old chestnut, really? We send 10 year old boys in to the men's toilets are they at risk of being raped? Do you really think so little of men, including yourself, that a trans woman walking in to a toilet is going to turn you in to a rapist? As I think you know I have quite a weak bladder which means sometimes when there is a queue at the women's I use the men's. And I am safe. I have had a man volunteer to stand outside the door to stop any men coming in. I am there as a guest, I don't demand to go in I ask if it is OK before even opening the door. You want me, a biological female to put up with men in single sex spaces, and biologically they are men, and you don't think that makes me unsafe? Or uncomfortable? Why? Why not go for a third space? Or make toilets, and some places have these a door that locks into a small room with a toilet, san pro bin, wash basin, paper towels etc so that no one is going in to the 'wrong' toilet. Now back to your first statement, I am more concerned by ACTUAL rape rather than a hypothetical rape.

You have a lot of patience dealing with this misogynist idiot.

His prisons argument is such nonsense. Is he proposing to move all at-risk male prisoners into women's prisons? Pedos, gang informants, ex-police, child killers and so on. I bet not.

Maybe it was the horse that failed the sex test?

lcakethereforeIam · 03/06/2025 19:32

Should have put 'as if', following 'failed one'.

I think horses can have DSDs. Stands to reason, humans aren't special in that regard. Another poster put something about them in a different thread a little while ago.

Eta missing the laugh emoji.

I wouldn't want to have been the one to ask her for one, but I doubt she needed an 'excused because royal' note given she was competing in a mixed-sex sport that had no reason to test any of the women.

Gosh, I take it Indie will be publishing a paper on the child bearing men female sex test failers. I bet Prof Winston is waiting with baited breath

I think there was one woman that gave birth who exhibited an almost unique mosaicism.

Windy is getting twisty knickered about the vanishingly small number of XY individuals who (with a lot of medical intervention) can gestate an implanted embryo.

But then Windy thinks hormones have changed his chromosomes and that he's got a cervix so - unless he's keeping it in a box like Stan from Life of Brian - I'd say his grip on biological reality is a bit shonky.

WallaceinAnderland · 04/06/2025 01:02

I don't know why transpeople are getting so riled. Imane has never claimed to be trans has he?

sashh · 04/06/2025 05:21

So I woke up to this.

See, this is what I mean about the inconsistency. You're saying:
1. You would feel unsafe if a trans woman came into the women's bathroom because you see her as a man.
2. Trans women should not feel unsafe being forced into the men's bathroom.
3. You do not feel unsafe using the men's bathroom.
So it seems to me that your position is that men and women can use the same bathroom and nobody will feel unsafe, but you're willing to pretend they can't as a pretext to hurt trans people.
