It is beginning to look like he is trying to goad JKR into suing him. To what end, I'm not sure, but it can only be about getting attention and trying to make her look bad.

And it wasn’t the EHRC which tried to stop the protest anyway but their landlord from what that says?
If the protest was being conducted legally then of course it should be allowed. What a weird idea of ‘a hell of a beating’.

TBH, the pettiness of this daft stunt isn't what bothers me. It's the violent, aggressive language, directed at a woman whom is publically known as a survivor of male abuse and violence.

As we used to be told in school, "when you point your finger at your neighbour, there are three fingers pointing back at you".

If his little gang of ninnies want to 'have a voice', could they perhaps start by making legible posters. Teeny tiny writing on brown card is like muttering their message beside a busy road.

As for Nash, I don't know who she is. She seems to be rather disconnected from reality, rather like the article. It states, uncritically, that the BMA says that understanding sex is "scientifically illiterate," no attempt to look into who said it and why, or that the vast majority of doctors rolled their eyes at it.

The lyrics are also misleading. Nash states 90% of sexual assaults are 'cis' men, tacitly implying 10% are trans identifying males.

In fact there is no data on sex offenders disaggregated by gender identity.

He’s dangerously obsessed now, all his perceived evils are JKR’s fault, someone needs to step in. I feel so sorry for his poor children.

If he’s the example to them of what men are like, I guess opting out must seem quite appealing, those poor girls.

His use of violent language towards women is becoming really disturbing, last week he said the ‘knives were out’ for Baroness Falkner of the EHRC and now he’s saying directly to JKR ‘your lot took a hell of a beating’. He’s surely inciting violence towards any women who disagree with him, it’s alarming.

Man guilty of beating an animal to death.
Uses aggressive and violent language and imagery.
Harasses and hounds women.

Obviously this thread has a very alid purpose, but I can't help note that every time I see the thread title "Mr Maugham shares his thoughts on feminism" my brain responds with "I literally cannot think of a single thing on planet earth I am less interested in that Mr Maugham's thoughts on feminism. Literally nothing. OK, there might be some things equally uninteresting, but literally nothing less interesting.

I doubt very much if the landlord was politically motivated.

He or she just didn't want a bunch of shouting, ranting men on the doorstep. Especially since the protest du jour seems to involve men pissing on everything, vandalising property and stripping off their clothes.

And I hope JK comes back with a comment that requires JM to explain why he thinks the landlord's got anything to do with her.

Checked this out, it's not my cup of tea but good lyrics. Interesting when taken alongside the current 'protect the dolls' stuff.

If that's true, it would mean that TW are hugely overrepresented in sexual assaults because they don't comprise 10% of the male population.
