What do you think a stained glass window commemorating history can or should achieve?

I don’t think the money needed to be spent at all at this point when there are so many people in need. It’s quite simply an opportunity for this man to virtue signal his ‘goodness’, people in his position are always thinking about their ‘legacies’, and not about real people in real need.

The mayor didn't commission it. The council did. He just unveiled it and said the same sort of stuff people doing unveiling say.😆

You might want to take a look at what the good rate paying people of Belfast are saying, and it’s not a ringing endorsement. He seems to have form for spending large sums on things that people don’t believe are necessary, the FOI requests are piling up!
