his whole concept of "more of a woman" is just lunacy.

'man' is not an insult any more than 'woman' is, it just refers to a sex class, of all the billions of men & women on the planet, many millions of both are superb human beings, just as many millions are awful. most of both are ordinary enough, of course.

it's perfectly possible to love or loathe JKR, but to suggest she's 'less of a woman' than a man just smacks of detachment from reality.

I think the video game analogy is spot on. I hadn't thought of it like that previously but I think you're right - some of them absolutely do think of it like achieving a level in a game.

I find the accusation that the Supreme Court could be 'bought' really offensive. Even if it is a naive criticism of a philanthropist for paying for the applicant's legal expenses, suggesting that justice in this country is open to bribery is a really serious insult to the judiciary.
