The whole point of bringing male children into the women's toilets with their mothers is because of the men in the men's toilets.

The VAST majority of WH listeners will be baffled by the weird focus on spelling out the difference between blokes in non-gender conforming clothing in women's toilets and little boys in there with their mothers. We all fucking KNOW that and feel the difference on a primitive, instinctive way, and anyone who tries to imply it's the same thing or use it as a gotcha is going to arouse deep, deep suspicion, no matter how kind the woman wants to be.

That was brilliant from Helen but so frustrating that Nuala cut her off just as she was explaining why bringing a small male child into the ladies loo isn't the gotcha that trans activists like to think it is.

Exactly. Nobody ever asks about dads taking their little girls into the men's. They're (supposedly!) safe in the ladies because there's no men there!

Just listened now. I don't know how Helen stays so calm when dealing with people with that presenter's attitude. For something called 'Women's hour'' the presenter doesn't seem to see women's side at all!

I'll say what I said the other day. Within the constraints she'd be operating within at the BBC, I thought that was reasonable in terms of the challenges made by Nuala McGovern.

Just imagine if we had politicians who spoke with such gravitas and factual logic on issues they had researched thoroughly.

I agree. Any link planted in people minds, no matter how tenuous or innocent between trans women and small boys is not going to help their cause.

That was such a clear example of the utter brainwashing that has gone on. The presenter trying every which way to find a 'gotcha' as to how men can actually be women. Because a man told her so on Monday.

Yes you sum it up perfectly. The presenter was acting as if this was so complicated? It's been happening since forever and women understand the necessity! Little boys are not men!

You think that you love and admire Helen Joyce.
Then you hear her deal with the inept presenter on WH and you realise that you love and admire her even more!
What was the presenter doing?

Do you think they went around the office offering everyone an opportunity to ask “but what about …?” and then included all the inanities in the interview?
