Just saw this:

Helen Joyce @ HJoyceGender
Morning all! Guess where I'm off to this fine day - Broadcasting House to discuss the @ ForWomenScot judgment, 4 weeks on, on @ BBCWomansHour! Do listen in. I'm looking forward to debunking some shocking disinformation, and reminding an astonished world that Women Have Rights Too

[EDIT]

Yes, I know I put "Women's" instead of "Woman's" in the title

Now I know why I stopped listening . . .

JazzyJelly · 14/05/2025 10:28

Male judge called 'she'.

Boiledbeetle · 14/05/2025 10:28

Helen laughing about cases being taken to ECHR

TracyCruz · 14/05/2025 10:28

Again with "on the winning side"

Faffertea · 14/05/2025 10:28

Just realised listening live on BBC sounds then looking here- I’m a few mins behind sorry all!

CanOfMangoTango · 14/05/2025 10:28

Bringing up Victoria McCloud now 😂this presenter is desperate for Helen to concede something!

wrongthinker · 14/05/2025 10:28

Presenter is a moron?

Boiledbeetle · 14/05/2025 10:29

Young boys with mothers in toilets

Helen rather exasperated now

LegoHouse274 · 14/05/2025 10:29

I just swore out loud at this ridiculous question about little boys! What a ridiculous and disingenuous derail!

Greyskybluesky · 14/05/2025 10:29

"I will leave it there" says the presenter because I am out of my depth

JazzyJelly · 14/05/2025 10:29

Revolting to use little boys as a shield for grown men.

BingBongSong · 14/05/2025 10:29

LGB Alliance on Monday.

JulesJules · 14/05/2025 10:29

God, Nuala is driving me mad

CanOfMangoTango · 14/05/2025 10:29

Absolutely. She was on the strugglebus from the start.

Boiledbeetle · 14/05/2025 10:29

Helen was great, Presenter woeful!

littlbrowndog · 14/05/2025 10:29

Jeez the presenter. She is not good at all

Redshoeblueshoe · 14/05/2025 10:29

Well we all know Amnesty's opinion.

NeedForSpeed · 14/05/2025 10:29

This is such a farce. Imagine wondering if it's appropriate to bring a young boy into the loos with you - why wouldn't it? Absolutely ridiculous. The presenter is trying to double down on points she clearly doesn't understand and doesn't want to develop.

ThatsNotMyTeen · 14/05/2025 10:30

What does little boys going to the loo with their mum have to do with grown men being allowed to put on a wig and go into the ladies? Do these fucking idiots ever hear themselves? Has common sense and protecting tiny children completely gone out the window?

JazzyJelly · 14/05/2025 10:29

Revolting to use little boys as a shield for grown men.

I know. No one is worried about kids in toilets. Disgusting to complicate the issue on purpose.

I just swore out loud at this ridiculous question about little boys! What a ridiculous and disingenuous derail!

Tbh I'm glad this was brought up because it's a nice reminder of the insanity of what RMW was trying to say on Monday.

nauticant · 14/05/2025 10:30

That was incredibly clear from Helen Joyce.

It's now very clear why the BBC has spent years making sure that she was kept off the air.

Coatsoff42 · 14/05/2025 10:31

Fantastic interview, thought the interviewer was even handed and allowed Helen Joyce to respond to the nonsense from Monday.

wrongthinker · 14/05/2025 10:31

Unbelievable that this is the Presenter of woman's hour! Ffs.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 14/05/2025 10:31

Amnesty on Friday, LGBA on Monday. Audible relief from presenter now it’s over!
