Tenuous link - look who’s ignoring the law once more

I hope Stonewall will pay the legal fees if any football team or club following their advice.

Ah, so you admit it's all about winding us up? Or is it just that you don't want to be seen to be uneducated on DSDs so make an excuse. And the prehistoric era is those who believe in the fantasy of 'gender' 'identities'. You still believe in the tooth fairy, santa claus and easter bunny don't you.

Edited

Winding you up in the sense that it’s SO easy to annoy you 🤣 Not that I am joking. No I admit, I’m not massively educated in DSD. My bad. However I know my shit when it comes to gender identify and bio sex and the difference between it. MN aka the anti trans sphere is full of you people like you reinforcing each other’s opinions and shouting down anyone with who dares to have the slightest difference in opinion. That’s not how you debate an issue fyi. And lol “the prehistoric era is those who believe in the fantasy of gender identities” - doesn’t even make sense. Gender identity is a fairly new concept so how does people believing it make them more “prehistoric” than those who don’t - whose opinion is MORE dated?! And I think you’ll find the word “make believe” before the description of the tooth fairy, the Easter bunny, and Santa in the Oxford English Dictionary. Hmmm do you find it before the word gender? Nope didn’t think so. You’re the one who’s into make believe love, or, more accurately, in denial. Enjoy your night in the company of all the other teeny tiny minds 🤣

Igneococcus · 01/05/2025 20:26

Gender identity is a fairly new concept
And yet we are told that there were always transpeople

My Oxford Dictionary defines gender in terms of grammar.

What on earth?!
I Notice that they didn’t put their legal disclaimer clearly at the bottom of that post.
Im not on Twix - can someone ask them to clarify if that’s legal advice?

Mine (Chambers) just has ‘noun’ alongside definitions for Santa Claus and tooth fairy. No mention of an Easter bunny at all.

Stonewall demonstrating that they have no idea how the law works…for the tiny handful of people who were still under the impression they had any credibility.

It’s so easy to wind you people up it’s unreal 🤣 almost as ignorant as terfs stuck in a prehistoric era who don’t believe in gender identity 🤣🤣

OK, I take back what I said. @FlakyCritic seems to have been justified.

Ummmm… did you not get the memo? Trans folx have been around since the dawn of time don’t you know. You insisting it’s a recent phenomenon is extremely transphobic and offensive. Educate yourself please. Do better

TheOtherRaven · 01/05/2025 21:58

It's been the law for last 15years.

It's just you who misrepresented it.

And are AGAIN trying to misrepresent it.

I really hope the EHCR starts going after this shite.

Of course you do, now that you find out I have a different viewpoint to your own. So it’s ok to be rude and offensive to people with a different viewpoint to you, but not to those whose views you share? Again, just proving my point about you terfs shouting down those who doesn’t agree with you, you’re just as bad as TRAs. Literally impossible to have any kind of reasonable discussion because you’re so unreasonable

But sometimes I like being rude and offensive.

Who are you to say I can't be?

Bloody fun killer <kicks dog>

No you don't.

You don't know your stuff.

Youve started your argument with DSDs (by using the politically incorrect and offensive term intersex, which is a no no) and then you started to name call.

Then you have claimed to 'know your stuff'.

If you start off with name calling, that's not really saying you know much. It's saying you are a bit of a wally.

At best 'knowing your stuff' probably means you've been on a training course with lots of thought terminating cliches and got a shiny pin badge or something with your pronouns on to virtue signal how much you know.

You say gender is a new thing. No not really. And some of us have been educated rather longer than you might actually think. Cos we have skin in this.

All you are is a walking BINGO card who doesn't say much of substance, throws some insults about, thinks they are winding people up here (when actually we've seen it all before) before the inevitable flounce because they've run out of anything meaningful to say.

It's more tedium than aggravating in anyway tbh. Well done.

Would you like a Tufty Badge?

So what are they then? Male or female? Sure, most legally identify as one of the other, but it’s not biologically that simple. They might have more male sex characteristics than female or vice versa but considering many have a number of characteristics from both sex they can’t catagorically be one of the other. Feel like intersex people are the forgotten-about minority in the gender debate. Would love to hear from any intersex people on their own opinions about their sex..

AI description

Intersex people are not simply male or female. The term "intersex" describes individuals born with sex characteristics (chromosomes, hormones, or anatomy) that do not fit typical binary definitions of male or female. This means they have variations in their sex traits that are not exclusively male or female

"Feel like intersex people are the forgotten-about minority in the gender debate."

This trans person is utterly confused. What does the sex situation of people with DSDs have to do with the gender debate?

I don’t need to go on some wanky course to learn the importance of using pronouns - I’ve had trans and non-binary friends and family members for years, I’m gay, my best friend is a trans man. This is my world.

I didn’t start an argument- I used the term intersex. Then I admitted I don’t know much about DSDs - which is true. I’m not denying that. If I used an offensive and outdated term then my bad. I’m not trying to pretend I know a lot about DSD. I won’t keep my opinion on gender identity to myself though, despite being hugely outnumbered by many ignorant opinions on MN.

But really who says “wally” and wtf is a tufty badge? You sound about 95 years old

And being gay, having trans family members etc is exclusive to you and no one else here?

Ok.

And that makes you the leading authority on all things.

Ok.

You carry on, enlightening us...

I'm a trans man, and I'm embarrassed to have so-called allies like you, who drag people with DSDs into a debate that has nothing to do with them, and after they've repeatedly asked not to be used as a gotcha in discussions about trans matters.
