I am genuinely perplexed how a judgement giving clarity on the rights of 52% of the population becomes a discussion about the effects on 0.05% of the population. It’s pretty obvious to anyone with thinking capacity that if there need to be sex based rights (because of sexism) these need to be based on sex. Rights for other groups should not be impacted by this, also obviously. How could the law have found differently without being a farce?

Poor old Ed Davey.
Maybe he would have been happier if they'd taken him to a playground to talk about this momentous news.

I think one of my favourite things about all this is that it is one thing Labour absolutely cannot find a way to blame on the Tories.

They expect women to be the passive validators of their delusions, to bow, compliantly, to their presence in women’s spaces and their insistence on being women. When women withdraw their consent from this post-truth shitshow and say ‘NO’, the lie of their identity starts to crumble. That’s why men are angry – because women are revolting. It’s a story as old as time.

Thank goodness for Rosie Duffield. Labour should be begging her back.

I do not much like Badenoch for lots of things she says BUT i am certain that on the subject of gender she is sincere and passionate and not choosing a side for political gain. And for that i applaud her.

Nothing from Kier Starmer on this landmark ruling by the Supreme Court against one of our Nation Governments. But never fear - he’s all over the potholes

I'm finding his tweet funnier than it actually is, I think I'm amused by the desperation.

Why is he always so eager to offer up evidence that he's the son of a fool maker?

To be fair, the maths he’s having to do to work out the number of penises that women have now is probably taking him a while.

He can’t speak on the issue. If he says he’s pleased for women he looks like a backsliding fool; if he says he’s worried for pretendy women he just looks like a fool, full stop.

One thing you can say for India Willoughby and the rest of the trans mob is that at least they’re consistently stupid and objectionable on the subject.
