I've been waiting to see how the Irish Times - very TWAW in the past, reversing a bit recently - covered this.
Firstly, it too them ages to cover it at all; secondly, it somehow found a bucket of cold water in the judgement to pour over us celebrating vipers:
“The terms women and sex in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex, but we counsel against reading this judgment as a triumph for one or more groups in our society at the expense of another – it is not,” said Patrick Hodge, deputy president of the supreme court. - Reuters
We're only celebrating fairness and common sense, and nobody wants anybody to lose the rights they are entitled to:
To women - our rights and no less. To trans people - their rights and no more.
(that's paraphrasing a Canadian men's group's slogan from the 1980s - the past, and Canada were different countries back then)
