Mate, women have been putting up with the far more offensive situation of trans identifying men taking it upon themselves to literally redefine us into this baseless concept of "cis women" who share some sort of wommany mindedness with them, not only without doing us the courtesy of asking us beforehand whether we do, in fact, actually all have that wommany mind thing they were assuming we do (clue - a hell of a lot of us do not), and even if we did, did we actually agree that having a wommany mind is more significant to women's safey, privacy, rights, protections and identity than just having a boring old female body (clue - no it isn't), but just going ahead regardless because nothing we boring actual women could have to say is worth more than their assessment of us, but even after the event, when we are activelty saying very loudly "Oi, men-who-think-you-are-women, you have got this woman thing wrong! That is not what we are at all!", continuing to assert their own redefinition of us onto us over our own voices and experiences.
Now that is offensive!
So if now and again we have enough of that unbelievably offensive treatment and let off a little bit of steam with some - gasp - intemperate poetry, I really do not think that comes anywhere close to the utter utter utter offensiveness that is the simple everyday reality of trans women's treatment of women and womanhood.
