she stated that her kid was trans, her sisters kids are trans, her best friends kid is trans and her kids best friend is trans.

The kids best friend thing fair enough as they probably hang out with like minded people.

But people still like to claim it’s not a social contagion when whole families are caught up in this bollocks.

How can people like her be so bloody minded and dumb?

I am also concerned that something that needs a light shining on it will suffer for being associated with Trump. Ie people will write it off more easily as they can shove it in the box marked “right wing nazi lies”.

I don't know how it is that between us (friends) we have 13 kids (all young adult) and not one of them is trans. Yet you have people like Cynthia, or Megan Fox whose three children are all trans! Obviously not all trans kids are neglected but I really do wonder about the showbiz types, there’s too many in Hollywood to be a coincidence.

I'd suggest that family have some serious genetic testing done if they all feel like they've been born in the wrong body.

Well, having facilitated her daughter's transition she now has to be right on this stuff otherwise she is the worst parent ever. It's helpful to her that her sister and friends have made the same appalling decisions.

My son, when he was a toddler loved princesses, dresses and we used to dress up together. In no point it crossed my mind he was transgender! He was a baby!
I'm extremely anti-Trump, but i support this decision. Enough with brainwashing young children to think they are in the wrong body, when they are just showing imagination and curiosity.
My son grew out if it. Most will.

Totally agree with that analysis. So many on here me included always been centre / slightly left be kind but the trans movement pushed the majority way too far - and here we are.

Its probably because you had a casual attitude to it and told him that it was ok and not an issue that he didn’t feel the need to change sex.
My sister in law took a similar view with her son and he sort of grew out of it but He’s now 18 and a drag queen and designer for other queens. Very gay but definitely not trans.

I've looked at pictures of Nixon's daughter and, bless her, she's a fairly plain and geeky looking character. Not a problem at all in normal life but I can imagine how, in the looks-obsessed world of celebrity, it might seem like an escape to say you're a boy and identify out of all that.

I haven't read the whole thread so not sure if anyone else has said this. Cynthia Nixon and parents like her will never admit they were wrong about this. Because if they do, then they are admitting to harming their children, emotionally and physically. Over many years. And irreversibly. They are abusers.

I’ve come to think that a lot of ‘creatives’ / actors must actually on the spectrum. The susceptibility to influence and ability to step wholly into another character is useful when acting. Unfortunately it also makes themselves and their children more susceptible to genderism. Plus, elite, wealthy, very liberal and special.

It’s because you live in a wealthy, predominantly white, upper middle class, liberal bubble Cynthia. I agree her insistence on woke-ing up SATC in the reboot made it unwatchable.

A friend of a friend of a friend made a huge song and dance about her teenage kids. 1 lesbian, 1 gay and 1 trans. Constantly posting photos of them and screeching LGBTQ+++!! TWAW!! She was more vocal about their sexuality/identity than they were.
The whole thing was clearly 'oh look at me, I'm so cool and progressive, even my kids are special and different' She treated them like the latest cool must-have accessories.
I have no idea what happened but there was later a family rift and all 3 kids have since disowned her
