I went to mass this morning, main order on the menu was world peace, but I lit a candle for all women and the feminists who defend them. And was glad that our first prayer was about St Josephine Bhakita, kidnapped, enslaved and repeatedly traded as a child, the first black woman canonised in modern times, now the patron of trafficked people, particularly women. She saw a chance of escape, took it with help from women, survived, grew. We can do it.
