It's been perfectly clear that Christinapple has either not understood what GC means, or is pretending not to.
Trump and his ilk, like them, believes that women are people with a certain set of traits, behaviours, characteristics, likes, feelings etc.

Rather than just simply describing a body type which can have any type of personality, soul, identity etc.

The entire thread expresses sympathy, concern, and fear for the women this regressive crazy law might affect.

Christinaapple uses the thread to get a dig in against women with views Christinaapple doesn’t approve of.

Quelle fucking surprise 🙄

Ghastly scenarios opening up with this… Is it guilty till proven innocent? if so, e.g. won’t there be a lot of motherless children when their mother has to be executed when she had a miscarriage she couldn’t prove was natural? or does it have to be proven to be deliberate? won’t there be a rush of women to get sterilised if fertility becomes such a liability? Forced to choose whether to remain alive but childless, or risk death with children. If sterilisation is made illegal, could it be done secretly elsewhere? Could it be investigated whether a woman made herself deliberately infertile?

Affluent women will still get abortions, no doubt, even if they live in states where abortions are illegal. And yes, affluent women are more mobile when it comes to moving to a new state.

Yes, you can bet your bottom dollar that wealthy, white families will be able to take 'holidays' to somewhere they can access abortion for a family member who needs it. But a poor , black teenager crossing state lines in a car will be under much more suspicion.

And obviously the unmarried daughters and the mistresses of said politicians will be exempt….

And the men who make people pregnant including rapists, and incest rapists fathers and brothers and uncles of little girls will not get the death penalty.

I feel so sorry for the women here. Imagine being raped, going through the trauma of that, reporting it, then finding out you're pregnant, having a miscarriage and the potential trauma of that and potential health problems, and then being treated like a potential criminal by the state 😥

Indeed.

Depends on what denomination. My church say children are innocent until they reach the age of accountability (knowing right from wrong.) Some people never reach that (because of disability/learning difficulties) so they're innocent for their whole life. When the innocent die they go straight to heaven. Whether those who die before being born have souls or not is up for debate, there isn't a definite answer. (My church, LDS, isn't pro choice but says abortions can happen in certain circumstances, it's up to the mother, although she's advised to talk to her bishop about it and pray about it.) Talking to a woman I know from church who was really angry about what's happening in the USA because in her opinion it's taking agency away from women, which is wrong.
