Himation is my new word of the day - along with vitiate, which I kind of knew but had to look up thanks to our very own MdeG on another thread.

Thanks all. Mmm nice soup.

Oh crap.

I'm obviously highly contagious.

That quokka should really have worn a hood on that hazmat suit when delivering the soup.

Both the gerbil and quokka staff seem susceptible to my germs!

There appears to be some horrifying side effects, I'm all fuzzy, one of the gerbils has grown a carapace (obviously I wasn't hallucinating at the end of the last thread, there really was a gerbil beetle sat watching me)

We need to hire some agency Capybaras to stand in for the sick gerbils and quokkas

I managed to get an emergency capybara, but getting the chicken soup was much more difficult. AI has to put vegetables on top of it or in it or both, and if not in it then you get a box of vegetables thrown in...

It's magic - I suggest something, and in no time - there it is, a procession of quokkas..
Thank you Magpie!

ifIwerenotanandroid - I love the fact that you can look at an image of five robed quokkas walking upright and holding bowls, in front of a giant beetle, and your reaction is 'There's something amiss with that picture - I've got it - they're wearing the wrong clothes!'😂

And thank you Errol, I've now learnt TWO new words today - 'vitiate' on another thread, and 'himation' on this one. Every day a school day on FWRSmile

Simultaneous posting! One mind in two bodies, or something..Smile

Don't start that! There's enough weirdness round here already.

Well, you know how it is. You log off leaving Boily in bed with a cold in the 21st C, you do your food shopping in town & by the time you get back & log on again she's being worshipped by the ancient Greeks. That's the Bluestocking for you.

Emergency vegetables, no less!

Could you marble or stripe purple, white & green? I think they look great. You could make hundreds of them & hang them close together on a gallery wall like a curtain. There really needs to be an exhibition of T!!! art one day.

Here's one. The quokkas may like to recycle it as a hat when the ceremonial procession is overSmile

Sorry Boily I don't have any Olbas Oil, but Peppermint oil is supposed to be good too.

The other hundreds for the gallery wall will have to wait, ifIwerenotanandroid, I've already spent ages doing this one, instead of the 1,001 things I should have been doing this afternoon..
If only there were small rodents who could be trained to tidy up all the scraps of wrapping paper, replace the xmas decorations which have fallen out of their storage box all over the floor, prepare an evening meal..

I imagine it's in the nature of an encouragement to get welly soon. Or else more vegetables...

By crikey, that's an impressive representation of a libation cup. I knew what it was at once. And in suffragette colours!

Although please don't drink Olbas oil, or peppermint oil, from it!

ifIwerenotanandroid · 15/12/2024 18:45

I'm just admiring it from afar. What Boily will do is anyone's guess.

ErrolTheDragon · 15/12/2024 18:53

you shouldn't be drinking anything from a libation cup, should you?

The cleaning crew gerbils would prefer any libations to be poured outside, not on the floors. The gardening gerbils would prefer that we restrict our liquid offerings to a nice solution of MiracleGro. I think they make an excellent point.

Magpiecomplex · 15/12/2024 18:58

That's true Errol, one should not drink anything from a libation cup. However, does the AI know this?!

Really?

OK I'll just pour the olbas oil straight on to me.

ETA just noticed, I'm now growing antlers!
