I first came across snickerdoodles in the What Katy Did books, and was intrigued. It's such a lovely word to say!

DH & I were guessing what snickerdoodles were before looking it up. I guessed a lumpy thing with marshmallows on top; DH pictured a Snickers bar melted over a cake or biscuit.

Far too late for me android, and I'm already thinking of a full TOS - Enterprise rewatch next year. When I hear Kardashian (see, I can't even spell the human version) my first thought is

I have just been trying for about the last hour to make some Cardassian Voles. I thought it would be funny to make Kardashian voles, but AI would not comply, and had no idea what the other kind of Vole was. I found a picture of one, so I knew it had six legs and was quite fugly looking. AI massive fail here. I must admit I started shouting at it when it consistently failed to make a creature with six legs, not even those horrible spider like things.

Picture one is pinched off the Internet and is someone's drawing of a CV. The others are AI's rather pathetic attempts.

Me too. I resisted finding out who the kardashians actually were until I couldn't avoid them, the mental image was so much better than the reality turned out to be.

Last time DD was home for a few days we did the 3 'reboot' films, I think I might try to persuade DH we should work through our dvd collection when I'm retired.

We've not seen all the Discovery series or any of the Stranger Worlds (is that what it's called?) because it's on the wrong streaming service... haven't heard of they're worth shelling out for or not.

I watched some of Discovery and thought it quite poor and didn't much like what they did with the Klingons or the Trill, only saw one season of Picard and haven't yet seen any Strange New Worlds - though more people seem to speak well of that. I'll get round to them. I've been mostly doing cop shows in the last few years.

I enjoyed the two seasons of the Orville that I saw.

I didn't really know anything about them either, until some much younger friends of mine pointed me in the direction of the Yorkshire Kardashians. Has anyone else seen this? when I first watched it I thought it was actually Yorkshire Kardashians…😳

Yeah discovery was...well, good in parts, damning with faint praise.

We've not seen Orville though I liked the sound of it.
I've forgotten what the second season of Picard was like. Very much enjoyed the last season though.

We're enjoying Strange New Worlds although my favourite is without doubt Lower Decks. Orville is good but I can never see the ship without musing on how much it looks like a speculum. Which is unfortunate!

Snickerdoodles are a fairly plain cookie that is rolled in cinnamon and sugar before baking so it spreads out and develops a sweet, cinnamon crust.

We need replacement gerbils in the present room stat.

I've just been to check on them and they have discovered the 6 bottles of sherry for aunt Doris.
