I dont personally know this group, but suspect this was a condition of funding.
Which isn't to say some may actually agree with it.
Dont forget Roz Adams doesn't have an issue with TW, but only with lying about them to clients.
Also the "we particularly welcome applications from (long list) ... " is now standard in local government funding.
ie it is the standard tick list that helps you get a grant.
Its high time that on FWR we started looking at the funding stranglehold on women's groups, and how much they are the problem.
Random posts about a women's group someone has stumble across doesn't really reflect what is going on.
Would be really useful if women formed local groups to monitor funding criteria of local authorities.
JKR cant be expected to fund everything. So unless a wider community of women than the immediate group challenge the councillors you have helped to elect this will continue to happen.
As it has in Brighton, Bristol, and no dout most parts of the UK.
