I haven't minimized women's concerns at all. I think the idea of this happening in Canada is batshit crazy. I know people who work at parks and rec and they take this kind of thing very seriously. They would remove the guy and call the cops. I think Reduxx is seriously suspect. That's just my opinion.

Also, Amy Hamm is not a "reporter" or a journalist. She's a nurse who is currently awaiting a discipline hearing decision.

That just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Of course a man in a girl's swimming outfit in women’s changing rooms isn’t outlandish at all.

We could also add Canada, where men can self-identify into women's prisons, and when female prisoners ask the Elzabeth Frye society to help them challenge this, the EF people refuse. Because they serve all women, even the male ones.

The underlying issue in Canada is that the law supports self-id. So this guy says he's a woman, he is legally allowed in the women's changing room.

At least, so far that is how the law has been interpreted.

Reduxx have been proven consistently right and take accuracy seriously. Just because they are doing this on a shoestring doesn't mean they are less worthy. They break key stories which the mainstream outlets repeat. Amy is well known as a local hero of course people would come to her with a story about this kind of thing. One hopes that most places would stop this behaviour but maybe this location is fully captured. Maybe the management is dodgy. As the report says something similar happened in another town.

There is a good Canada election thread here. The Liberals are screwed, but how far the Conservatives will push back on gender remains to be seen. A lot want to fight back for sure. The main change will be the lack cover from federal government for whatever abuses the genderists are up to I suspect. I think the awful stuff we hear about from Canada is only the tip of the iceberg.

The first email from Bree Dobler, the assistant manager of the recreation centre, says

Her second email says "…everyone’s gender identity and expressions are valid. Everyone is welcome in our centres in the changeroom where they feel most safe. Gender expression and identity is protected under BC’s Human Rights Code and we are proud to have a Diversity in Changerooms Policy in our centres."

So tell me, do you really think the staff would have removed the guy and called the cops?
