I certainly would respect Mace's motives if she denounced the rapist in charge of her party who has bragged about assaulting women and barging into change rooms where young women were naked. But she hasn't and she won't because she is fine with Trump and his misogynistic ways. She never introduced a bill because Trump, who has violated women and women's spaces, is about to come onto the hill. She didn't say "oh we've a rapist and a felon moving into the White House, so we better be sure he's not legally allowed in the bathrooms!" That's how I know her motivations are merely to score points by targeting trans women. She does not care about women's safety or she would not have helped put a rapist in the White House.

At least Moulton isn't a hypocrit, and I respect his motivations (concerns for his daughters vs Mace being punative to people she doesn't like).

I am still undecided about single sex sports. I participated in both mixed and single sex and in certain events was the only girl competing amongst boys (and placed often enough), so I haven't made up my mind personally about it.

Why would she need to push for clear rules to keep a man who knows he’s not allowed to be in women’s spaces, and is clear about the need for women’s spaces, (regardless of his previous attitudes) instead of for a man who has clearly stated his intentions to enter women’s spaces in the building?

Who’s more likely to enter a woman’s space in the Capitol building? POTUS with all of his secret service agents, or a man who has publicly said he will?

I will, for this exercise, pretend we are talking about two cis men.

One goes into women's spaces and relieves himself in the privacy of a bathroom stall, washes his hands, and leaves.

The other goes into women's spaces and rapes them.

You don't believe that women are a discrete sex class and are happy to deny us our fundamental human rights of privacy, dignity and safety and the right to be separate from men in certain circumstances.

Do you think convicted sex offenders Katie Dolatowski or Andrew Miller should have had unfettered access to women's single sex spaces because they claim to be women and are therefore not a threat in your eyes?

Do you think Trump should be allowed in women's SS spaces if he claims to be a woman?

Don't try to make this about NM personally. You oppose single sex spaces for women and everything else is a distraction from that fact.

I have never seen a woman take a selfie in a public loo and if I did I'd think there was something deeply wrong with her. I don't think men would take to a man doing it in public loos either.

We started seeing videos of men masturbating in women's bathrooms, started seeing SM posts of very obviously non-dysphoric men taking "trophy hunting" pictures of themselves triumphantly posting pictures of themselves in women's bathrooms, smugly bragging about their new access to these spaces, and gloating about the fact the actual women whom these spaces were created for couldn't do a thing about it.
