@DeanElderberry . That’s sobering. Your last line really resonates. The end game seems to be an ‘open season’ on women (and girls/children) that the supporters and pushers of this stuff are advocating for. It is not a self regarding belief. They wish to impinge very badly on others.

Yes. It'll be either a global talent visa (if you have won a significant award in the arts they'll usually give you eligibility) or an entrepreneur business set up type visa. But most likely a global talent one.

I have a British friend who settled in California but since left to live elsewhere in the US due to the drugs, crime, poorer work/life balance, cost of living, threat of earthquakes and the threat of wildfires in the state.

This was a few years ago now before there started to be a trend for it.

But most people disagree with you, @PinkChesnut because you are wrong. Transwomen are by definition men, otherwise they would not be called 'transwomen'.
And whatever your beliefs, you cannot decide for other women, who do not agree with you and are unhappy/uncomfortable/frightened/terrified/traumatised by finding a man in what they had thought was a safe, women-only space.
NB @PinkChesnut, you seem to have difficulty with the difference between knowledge (that which can be objectively proved e.g. distance between Earth and its moon) and belief (that which cannot be objectively proved, e.g. the Resurrection of Jesus called the Christ). Well done everyone for allowing the latest TRA determined to educate the women on FWR to display the sad limitations of their arguments. TWAW, obsession with genital checks, I'm not sharing the research I'm talking about with you for errr ... reasons... and you're all being unkind. Plus of course the politicians who has allegedly failed to comment on all sorts of random issues......

And before I'm jumped on for 'misgendering', or some such bullshite (remembering another poster's post which was deleted for quoting a well known line from a very famous novel), it's part of the song.

The mindset where 'physical checks' (which don't seem to have been in the legislation anyway) become 'genital checks' rather than a sports coach using their physical senses, notably eyesight, to observe that one of the candidates for the girls' team is 8" taller and 100 lbs heavier than the others, and to ask to see their birth certificate, or to submit a cheek swab, on the basis of that, is very disturbing.

Isn't it? It's very revealing that as a sportswoman, feminist & teacher I never heard anyone talk about genital checks for decades until recently mainly male transactivists started saying the quiet bit out loud and obsessing about them.

Btw I had a thought the other day (I know, I know!), would an ordinary X-ray of the pelvis area not sort the ducks from the drakes? Obviously a cheek swab is easier.
