I want to ask another question. The "spontaneous" emails from former users of ERCC to The Sunday Mail defending Brindley. My question is how do those service users even know who Brindley is?

Well, quite. It's extremely suspicious that so many have emailed in support of her, within half an hour of publication. It's likely to be either pals, as suggested, or else she's asked service users. As already pointed out, service users will be most unlikely to have interacted with her, or to know who she is.

If she has contacted service users, she's on a sticky legal wicket. If connections of friendship with the correspondents can be shown, then surely whoever employs her ought to sack her for dishonesty?

It seems most likely it's employees, or at least one employee.

When the issue is one of sex, Mridul Wadhwa is male and was appointed to a job which is for females. Gender is irrelevant and we can’t resolve the issues in women’s services without correctly sexing staff in discussions.

I imagine because it is exactly what they believe.

And also because there is a sex based difference in their perception of the humanity of the people involved. Men not being respected submissively obeyed is far worse than the actual illtreatment of women.
