Which NHS doctor? The one Maya is being investigated for is Kamilla Kamaruddin who has been quoted as saying how validating it was to be able to do intimate examinations on Muslim female patients which they normally wouldn't allow..

• Saved the lives of 100 female lawyers who were under threat of murder in Afghanistan, by providing funding for them to come to the UK

What an awful, awful person she is. No wonder the misogynistic loons wish her dead.

I hear they're taking her house and turning it into a troll farm Residential IT Training Centre telling off mumsnet FWR posters focusing on online education.
JK is getting a place in the Banana Flats and will have to sign apology letters to India to pay her rent.

I joined a Facebook group called Fight the Patriarchy, thinking it would be pro women, instead there are multiple posts foaming at the mouth about JKR, and fawning over trans women. I considered posting my views but ended up just leaving the group. I can't understand why a group supposedly supporting women don't think men pretending to be women are a threat, and that they need women to defend them. A bit short sighted to say the least, and disappointing.

Oh yes, I see this delusion all over the place in genderist-aligned discourse.

They genuinely believe it.

The logic is something like...

"Patriachy imposed limitations on women"
"Patriachy hates masculine women and feminine men"
"So if we say women can be male it is like saying fuck the patriarchy!"

The fact that giving "womanhood" to men is just a relabelling of men that benefits the relabelled men but does fuck all good and quite a lot bad for actual women, and therefore troubles the actual patriarchy power dynamic not one iota appears to be beyond them.
