You seem to be very keen on claiming that I have some sort of power, or attempting to wield some sort of power, over you and your actions. When I have none at all. That is something that we have seen all too regularly as a tactic on social media that this thread is discussing. I am glad that you found the thread.

If you don't want people to interact with your posts, why do you post? I am not saying that you are not welcome to post on this public forum at all. I am merely questioning how you believe people should interact with your posts if they disagree with them and the accusations you make. Are you used to only posting somewhere where support only is allowed?

I have a feeling that they might not be real lawyers because they use "since" and "therefore" in the same sentence. I think JKR could afford better lawyers than that.

They are going to be v disappointed when JKR gets back from hols. She is resting up her tweeting power till she gets stuck into Paralympic sexism which starts on Aug 30th.

You do wonder if journalists ever stop and think: "Harold Evans exposed the Thalidomide scandal in the Sunday Times. Woodward and Bernstein uncovered Watergate. I just wrote a whole story about someone not tweeting for three weeks."

Julie Bindel did a very funny tweet:

'Not sure what's keeping jk rowling from tweeting, but just received a postcard from her, with a photo of a beach, and the message, "Weather is here, wish you were beautiful," which is a bit rude of her, even if she is on the vodka-infused candy floss at 9am.'

Amusingly, some people seem to have taken this literally, rather than realising that Bindel was just having a bit of fun.

I would like to imagine Jo is swanning around enjoying a fabulous holiday, nary a nanothought of 'legal action' troubling her well-earned rest. When she gets back, she'll grab a brew, fire up the laptop, put on her reading glasses (after wondering where she left them, then remembering they're on top of her head) and with a small sigh, rattle off a pithy put-down that could be immortalised in stone for the ages. And then get back to directing her immense resources into helping the truly needy and changing the world for the better.

They really are obsessed with her. She tweets they get angry. She doesn't tweet and they get even angrier. I predict apoplectic rage when JK returns from her holiday.
