Help me present evidence to my son

My DS is 18 and heavy into the TWAW belief. He thinks JK Rowling is a despicable human being for her position and thinks that women should have no problem with all of this, and it's all just "scare-mongering" to say otherwise. Whenever I try to talk to him about this I end up getting too emotional to be rational. I really want to present him with evidence that this movement is not good for women - please help direct me to some good resources. Thank you.

That was awful behaviour and those women should be arrested and taken to court. Nobody should be assaulted for how they present themselves.

But:

Your friend is still a man so shouldn't be in women's single sex spaces.

Those women knew he was a man. They didn't attack him thinking he was a woman; they attacked him because he's a trans woman. So the awful attack undermines the whole TWAW argument.

Well a male rapist is not going to be a person particularly worthy of being called a woman.

I assume you mean after conviction because the police are reporting much higher levels of malicious rape claims.

It would be helpful if @DianaAntoniaJasmine could give some guidelines so we can work out when a TW is AW and when a TW is NAW.

Excuse my scepticism but you haven't exactly proven yourself to be a reliable narrator on this thread.

Self identification is ok but not to the point of legal reassignment and the Scots Nats government came unstuck on that although many countries have that as law
the uk government will be looking at gender recognition again and yes there will be safeguards and medical experts involved which I think is right as do most genuine tw

What, in your view, constitutes "an anatomical female body"? Is this just the external, secondary sex organs, or are you including the internal organs, such as uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, ovaries, and the complete clitoris? Are the external organs fully functioning, or are they simulations? What is "an endocrinological female system"? Is this one which requires the application or injection of female hormones to prevent it reverting to a male endocrinological system?

So when you say "They've given up reporting it" this is untrue. Some may have.
