My father who is a keen amateur cyclist (and just shy of 80) rang me up about to have a massive rant about this. Turns out he knows all about Laurel Hubbard, Lia Thomas and David Lammy. Despite living in New Zealand (or maybe because of living in New Zealand). It ended up with him promising to send me the terrific book he recently got off Amazon- Helen Joyce's 'Trans'.

It was quite the conversation. (Although I already have Trans. He said he'd send it to my aunt instead who has recently started using non-binary pronouns I hear).

It's really funny in a sad way, on the other thread we have people yelling "but what difference do pronoun badges make to YOOOOOOOOOOOOO?".
